There is no doubt that Astralis have formed the Danish super team that fans were after for the past couple of years. With the addition of two exceptional young talents in Martin “stavn” Lund and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard, formerly of Heroic, it should only be a matter of time until they become a championship contender team within the Counter-Strike competitive scene. However, they’ve only been together for a short amount of time, so they aren’t close to reaching their peak level just yet.
The Danes’ will have extra motivation to win their opening matchup, as their former coach, Danny “zonic” Sorensen and former teammate Emil “Magisk” Reif will be standing on the other side of the server.
Falcons
Falcons’ new roster was one of the main talking points of the latter part of 2023, with the Saudi organization being rumoured to have a lot of money to spend on some of the best players in Counter-Strike. While the team that they’ve ended up with may not be what some people were expecting, it is still a solid roster with a good mix of youth and experience.
Their match against Astralis will be their official debut, so it is uncertain as to what their current level of performance is. In any case, the individual skill that the members of the roster posses should be enough to make them a competitive team from the get go.
