Betway, BLAST Pro Series Sign Sponsorship Deal
The BLAST Pro Series is welcoming another major brand as a sponsorship partner. Betway, the leading online betting operator, will support the CS:GO tournament series throughout the year with an option to renew the deal in the future.
Strengthening a successful event series
The BLAST Pro series, a popular Counter-Strike tournament that has seen a lot of success in the recent past, is seeing the sponsors roll in. The Betway deal includes extended backstage access as well as VIP hospitality and a host of branding across BLAST Pro events – both online and in live locations.
“BLAST Pro Series is one of the most exciting tournament series’ on the calendar; you only have to look at the reaction of the community – both in stadium and online – to confirm this,” said Betway Marketing and Operations Director Paul Adkins.
So far this year, BLAST Pro is scheduled to take place in Sao Paolo in March, Miami in April, and Madrid in May, with more events to be announced in the near future. In December last year, BLAST Pro Lisbon saw Astralis claim the victory and a lion’s share of the $250,000 prize pool.
“Betway prides themselves with sponsoring premium content, so naturally we are thrilled that they want their brand associated with BLAST Pro Series, which is already an established and proven concept,” said BLAST Pro Series Commercial Solutions Head Leo Matlock. “It’s a grand validation for our product and we are looking forward to the partnership.”
BLAST Pro staying ahead of the game
The recent Betway sponsorship deal follows a number of other strategic moves by BLAST Pro to cement its position as a prime CS:GO event in the industry.
The company has signed various partnership deals like the one with KOMODO for the upcoming Madrid tournament.
Then, headset company Turtle Beach, Epics digital cards company, the Turkish Airlines, and Unibet are also among the supporters of various BLAST Pro events. The extended network of partnerships and event locations is a good indicator of the tournament’s popularity in the industry.
As esports continue to gain in popularity, events like BLAST Pro will surely keep making headlines and attract many enthusiastic competitive gaming fans.
