BLAST Makes Bold Move Into Mobile Esports With BLAST Bash
Esports tournament organizer BLAST is making a move into mobile esports with its new series of BLAST Bash events in collaboration with Supercell. Announced on Sep. 9, with additional details revealed subsequently, BLAST Bash will feature events for Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Brawl Stars – Supercell’s biggest mobile hits.
BLAST Bash will take over the mobile gaming esports landscape next month, running from Oct. 10 to Oct. 13. Divided into three tournaments, one for each title, BLAST Blast will feature teams and competitors from across the globe.
For Brawl Stars, BLAST is hosting BLAST Brawl 2024, from Oct. 10 to Oct. 11. Featuring open qualifiers for teams from Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America (NA), the top teams from each region will advance to an eight-team single-elimination face-off. The prize pool will be $15,000 per region.
Clash Royale fans will be treated to BLAST Royale 2024, an invite only event featuring the eight best players from around the world in a double-elimination tournament. This will run between Oct. 12 and Oct. 13 and feature a $15,000 prize pool.
And last but not least, BLAST Clash 2024 will feature open qualifiers with the top-eight Clash of Clans teams advancing to a single-elimination bracket for the chance to take home a cut of the $15,000 prize.
BLAST has operated esports events since 2017, with the BLAST Pro Series and BLAST Premier series of Counter-Strike tournaments being its flagship operation. The Denmark-based organizer has also hosted tournaments in Fortnite, Rocket League, and Rainbow Six Siege, and in 2025, Dota 2. This will be their first foray into mobile esports. The company operated under the RFRSH Entertainment banner until 2019, when it split from its esports team management business to focus on BLAST tournaments.
Supercell Ltd is a Finland-based mobile game development and publishing company, who operate under parent company Tencent. Their most popular titles include Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars, Squad Busters, Boom Beach, and Hay Day.
