BLAST Premier Fall Showdown Preview

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown serves as a midpoint to the Fall Series. It isn’t the end of the show, nor is it the start of the show, but it’s a tense and exciting filling in between two thick slices of CSGO action. Firstly, it all kicked off with a group stage, which ran from the 16th to the 26th of September. Throughout this opening bout, there were three teams that stood out as dominant sides in the competition.

In Group A, we saw Vitality put down Liquid, Astralis, and then Astralis again, which had come up from the Lower Bracket. For Group B, it was NIP that dominated, taking down BIG, G2, and then BIG once again. Lastly, in Group C, it was NAVI that ruled the roost, taking down OG, CompLexity, and finally, FaZe Clan. It was a fantastic opening to one of the most highly anticipated esports events in the industry.

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown roster consists of the bottom two teams from each Group. They’re effectively given another chance to make it to the Fall Finals, and the top two teams from the event will be granted entry into this prestigious event. For the other 14 teams, this spells the end of the road in the BLAST Fall Series.

Now, those victorious teams from Fall Showdown will transition effortlessly into the BLAST Premier Fall Finals, which boasts a massive $225,000 grand prize. Furthermore, the grand victor will receive a huge 4000 BLAST Premier points and an instant ticket to the World Final event, held in December of this year.

But, for now, we’re treating you to the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown predictions. This single-elimination event will be played with a classic best-of-three format, with two potential spots to win. However, no team will walk away empty-handed, as even the last-placed team will receive a $3,750 prize.

In esports, there are few things more exciting than CSGO bets. They’re dynamic, lucrative, and diverse, and almost every single esportsbook in the world covers them. If you’re eager to get involved with BLAST Premier Fall Showdown betting, you’ll need to know which odds are most likely to pay off.

For the opening matches of the showdown, there are a few teams that the bookmakers have identified as having the best chances of winning. This stage of the BLAST Fall Series is an important one, as it offers some of the losing Group Stage teams a chance at redemption. Although they fell short at the first post, this is another opportunity to claw back some much-needed gains and make it to the Fall Finals. This sense of urgency can make it difficult to offer accurate BLAST Premier Fall Showdown predictions, but not impossible.

For instance, in the opening match of Heroic vs. POGGERZ, it’s the former team that has the best chances of winning. The outright odds here are around 1.02 vs. 11.00, which gives you a clear picture of the expectations of each team. As you can probably imagine, it’s the top-rated teams that are expected to pull through, but there are some close match-ups in the Fall Showdown event.

The best example of this would be the showdown between Evil Geniuses and MAD Lions, two of the best teams in Europe. The CSGO odds are almost neck-and-neck here, standing at around 2.05 vs. 1.70. At present, no match in the event is being called as closely as this one.

Be Prepared For The Showdown

This year, the BLAST Premier betting is hotter than ever. There are so many markets to enjoy and the odds are lucrative, offering esports bettors the clear opportunity to make a little money. Fortunately, CSGO is one of the most popular esports when it comes to betting, so you’re spoilt for choice when looking for a platform to bet on. Right now, we’d recommend GG.bet, Betway Esports, and Bet365 – they’re some of the more popular platforms in the industry.

In the interest of knowing what’s happening, let’s highlight the Blast Premier Fall Showdown 2021 Schedule:

Round of 16

October 12th

  • Heroic vs. POGGERZ
  • Dignitas vs. Fiend
  • compLexity vs. MIBR

October 13th

  • OG vs. paiN Gaming
  • G2 Esports vs. Lynn Vision
  • Evil Geniuses vs. MAD Lions

October 14th

  • Virtus.pro vs. Movistar Riders
  • Team Liquid vs. 9z Team

Once these matches have been played, we’ll have some idea of how the rest of the event will look. And with each step forward in the showdown, half the teams will be removed, until we’re left with just two – and they’ll push forward into the Fall Finals.

If we had to call it in terms of BLAST Premier Fall Showdown predictions, we’d imagine the breakdown would happen something like this:

Round of 8: Heroic, Dignitas, compLexity, OG, Liquid, Virtus.pro, Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports.

Round of 4: Heroic, compLexity, Liquid, G2 Esports.

Winners: Heroic and G2 Esports.

This stage of the competition will kick off on the 12th of October – we wish you the best of luck with your wagers.
