BLAST Premier Spring Finals Teams and Predictions

As a BLAST Premier event, the participating teams have earned their spot from previous BLAST tournaments.

The following are the teams that have been it to this $425,000 prize pool event and how they got here:

  • Spring Groups – 6 teams – Team Vitality, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, Astralis, G2 Esports
  • Spring Showdown – 2 teams – TBD

Format

Rundown

  • 8 teams compete in Group Stage between the 12th and 16th  of June
  • From there, the top six teams will advance to the Playoffs

Group Stage

Kicking off the competition is a set of double-elimination format (GSL) groups like previous BLAST Premier events.

With each team featuring BO3 matches, the four teams will be doing their best to try and place in the top 3. From each group, here’s how seeding into the Playoffs will take place:

  • Group Winners – advance to Semifinals
  • Group Runners-Up – advance to Quarterfinals as the High Seeds
  • Group Stage Third Place – advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds

Playoffs

Once in the Playoffs, the final six teams will have to compete through a single elimination bracket. This means that teams have one lifeline to try and stay in the competition.

By the end of the competition, we’ll have a new BLAST Premier champion, earning a seed for the BLAST World Final.

How to Bet on the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2024

  • Typically, the best sites will offer new players some kind of welcome bonus such as a first deposit bonus and/or free bets.

3. Check out the betting markets – plenty of options

Familiarize yourself with the various types of bets that can be placed on CS2 tournaments. These can include:

  • Outright odds – prior to a stage or tournament starting, you’ll have the chance to place a bet on who you think will pass to the next stage or come out on top.
  • Match winner – predicting whether a match will end in a win for a particular team, or in some instances a draw. Often, a map handicap is present to keep things more balance.
  • Total kills – specified on a particular map, one may bet on which team they believe will have the most total kills regardless of win or loss.
  • Special bets – on CS2 betting sites, special bets will be available which usually correlate to occurrences of an event, such as the planting or defusal of a bomb.

Apart from betting pre-emptively, one may try out in-play or live betting and enjoy the experience of placing bets on the fly.

4. Budgeting – Bet Smart

It is vital to establish a budget for your betting and stick to it. Do not exceed your budgetary limits and avoid attempting to recoup losses by placing additional bets. Exercising responsible gambling is crucial.

5. Know what’s happening at the event

Following an event of multiple days, it’s essential to keep up to date with storylines and results during the event considering that teams fall in and out of form depending on the weekend.
