BLAST Premier Spring Finals Teams and Predictions
As a BLAST Premier event, the participating teams have earned their spot from previous BLAST tournaments.
The following are the teams that have been it to this $425,000 prize pool event and how they got here:
- Spring Groups – 6 teams – Team Vitality, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro, Astralis, G2 Esports
- Spring Showdown – 2 teams – SAW, Team Spirit
Format
Rundown
- 8 teams compete in Group Stage between the 12th and 16th of June
- From there, the top six teams will advance to the Playoffs
Group Stage
Kicking off the competition is a set of double-elimination format (GSL) groups like previous BLAST Premier events. Here’s how the teams have been seeded:
- Group A – Astralis, FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, SAW
- Group B – G2 Esports, Team Spirit, Team Vitality, Virtus.pro
With each team featuring BO3 matches, the four teams will be doing their best to try and place in the top 3. From each group, here’s how seeding into the Playoffs will take place:
- Group Winners – advance to Semifinals
- Group Runners-Up – advance to Quarterfinals as the High Seeds
- Group Stage Third Place – advance to the Quarterfinals as the Low Seeds
Playoffs
Once in the Playoffs, the final six teams will have to compete through a single elimination bracket. This means that teams have one lifeline to try and stay in the competition.
By the end of the competition, we’ll have a new BLAST Premier champion, earning a seed for the BLAST World Final.

Predictions for the BLAST Premier Spring Finals
Ahead of the BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2024, the most recent competition was very recent and in the form of the IEM Dallas 2024.
Featuring 16 of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world, here’s how the competition stacked up at this intense tournament:
- #1 – G2 Esports
- #2 – Team Vitality
- #3-4 – 9z Team, Team Spirit
- #5-6 – FaZe Clan, Heroic
- #7-8 – Team Liquid, BIG
- #9-12 – MOUZ, Team Falcons, Natus Vincere, Virtus.pro
- #13-16 – Complexity Gaming, Monte, M80, FlyQuest
In addition, SAW and Astralis are also competing with less exciting prospects.
Despite walking away as champions at IEM Dallas, G2 Esports are not favoured by the outright odds. It seems that considering how surprising the win was, there are doubts regarding their consistency.
Instead, esports bookmakers are favouring the likes of FaZe Clan, Team Spirit and Team Vitality – the top 3 teams this season so far.
