BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen Participants

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen features six competitors.

  • Astralis
  • Cloud9
  • FaZe Clan
  • Team Liquid
  • Natus Vincere
  • Ninjas in Pyjamas

Even though not all of these teams are in the top 20 at the moment, all of them have great rosters with a lot of potential, so the competition will be worth watching and every match is likely to give us a real esports battle. As for the tournament’s favorites, it’s pretty obvious that Astralis and Team Liquid are significantly stronger than the other competitors.

In particular, we’ll have to see what Natus Vincere and FaZe Clan can do at this event. It’s been a while since both teams have made important roster changes and it is not yet clear how much stronger or weaker they’ve become as a result of those changes.

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen Format

The format of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen is the standard one. And by that I mean the one we always see at BPS events. The teams will play one Bo1 match against every other competitor. So five matches in total for each participant. In the end, the top two teams will play in the Grand Final.

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen Prizes

BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen offers a quarter of a million dollars in prizes, as well as 30 qualification points for the BPS Global Final. These rewards will be distributed among the six participants in the following way.

  • 1st place: $125,000; 10 points
  • 2nd place: $50,000; 8 points
  • 3rd place: $25,000; 6 points
  • 4th place: $15,000; 4 points
  • 5th place: $10,000; 2 points
  • 6th place: $5,000; 0 points

Esports Odds are subject to change

The most important matches of the Group Stage will no doubt be the ones between Astralis and Liquid, as they are the two big favorites at this tournament. Based on how each of them performs against NiP, Na’Vi and FaZe, we might see these two in the Grand Final or we might have a partial upset. However, it’s almost impossible for both of them to miss the Grand Final and it’s also very likely that both of them will qualify for this last match of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen.
