Spring Finals are here – who can challenge Gambit Esports?

Summer is almost here, and that means it’s finally time to wrap up the Blast Premier: Spring with an awesome final event. Blast Premier: Spring Finals is the third and final part of the Blast Premier chain of spring events. The top 8 teams from Europe will be fighting tooth and nail to win the main prize, and that’s to secure one of the eight spots at the Blast Premier: World Final 2021. This is the end-goal for each of the competing teams in this event, and only one of them is going to achieve it.

Watch the BLAST Spring Finals LIVE

Like with previous Blast Premier: Spring events, this tournament will last for only 5 days. But that also means that we’ll get an action-packed CS:GO showdown. The prize pool is also higher this time, reaching a massive $425.000, so teams have an added incentive to give it their all.

When it comes to Blast Premier: Spring Finals betting, you’re in for a treat. Any betting site worth their salt will cover this esports tournament, so you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Each of these teams is an esports giant in their own right, but there can only be one winner.

We’ll cover the basic tournament information, check out the teams, and then talk about the opening matchups in Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. Finally, we’ll offer our own Blast Premier: Spring Finals predictions and unveil our own pick for the winner of this event.

Blast Premier: Spring Finals – Tournament Format

Blast Premier: Spring Finals format pits all the teams against each other right off the bat. The eight teams will play in a double-elimination Playoff bracket, starting with the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. All the matches will be played as best-of-three.

Quarterfinals matches:

As you can see, four teams that win their opening matches will move into the Semifinals, while the rest get demoted into the Lower Bracket where they have to fight for survival.

Blast Premier: Spring Finals Predictions

We’ll jump right into predictions and analyze the opening matches. All the teams are incredibly strong, but we’ll point out those that have the highest Blast Premier: Spring Finals odds.

While it’s hard to predict the outcome of such a high-caliber esports event, we still believe that Gambit Esports will be the team that will prevail. This year has been great for this Russian CS:GO powerhouse. They’ve won several high-tier tournaments, and have recently made it all the way to the Grand Finals of the Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Summer and won.

These guys are just on fire, and we expect them to completely wreck everything in their path in Blast Premier: Spring Finals 2021. If you are looking for some safe CS:GO betting, this is the team to go for.

Gambit Esports vs. Evil Geniuses

This is the opening match of the event, and straight away we have an epic clash.

Gambit Esports are just so good right now that it’s hard to imagine them losing here. Evil Geniuses, on the other hand, have not had the best run in 2021. They finished last in their group during the recent cs_summit 8 and dead last in ESL Pro League Season 13.

To their credit, they have done a solid job in the recent Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Summer, but even there they lost to Gambit Esports in the Group A Lower Bracket Round 3.

All in all, this should be a clear win for Gambit Esports. They are warmed up, motivated, and have the momentum to carry them to the Grand Finals. This is a safe bet, and to get the best odds, make sure to check out GG.Bet Esports.

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. Complexity Gaming

This is probably the closest matchup in the Quarterfinals. Both teams are fairly similar in terms of strength, and have scored similar results this year.

If we look at the recent Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Summer, we can see that both of these squads have finished in the 7th-8th spot. Each of them got defeated in their first match of the Upper Bracket and fought their way to the Lower Bracket Round 3 where they got eliminated.

Still, we feel that Ninjas in Pyjamas does have a slight edge here. We expect them to take a 2:1 win.

This might be the most balanced match in terms of Blast Premier betting, and we expect the odds to be pretty even with a small tilt in favor of Ninjas in Pyjamas.

G2 Esports vs. BIG

This should be an exciting match for sure. G2 have just finished the Intel Extreme Masters XVI – Summer and scored the 3rd-4th spot, so they’ll be hungry to continue their solid performance.

The guys from BIG have also been playing in the ESEA Season 37: Premier Division, but they’ve had slightly more time to prepare for this match.

Overall, when it comes to Blast Premier: Spring Finals betting, G2 should have the upper hand in this matchup. They have been consistently placing high on the list in every recent CS:GO tournament they attended.

BIG, however, has been middle of the pack throughout multiple events in 2021. During ESL Pro League Season 13 they finished at the bottom, while at the same time G2 Esports secured 7th-8th spot there.

Statistically speaking, G2 should have this one in the bag. BIG could technically still cause an upset and take a surprise win, but the odds are that G2 will emerge victorious here.

Natus Vincere vs. FaZe Clan

The Ukranian giants are living legends among the CS:GO fans, and they have been dominating the scene since late 2009. They are the DreamHack Masters Spring 2021 champions and have earned respectable results in many other tournaments of this year.

During BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2021, this crew finished first in Group C. They took 3 clean wins and secured themselves a spot on this event. Two of those three wins were against the team they’re facing now, FaZe Clan. They first beat them with 2:1 during the Group C Upper Bracket Final, and this time FaZe won a map on Nuke. The Grand Final was a clean 2:0 sweep for Natus Vincere.

This should tell us something, which is that FaZe Clan have very little chance of surviving this match. They are a solid team and are well-respected among their peers, but in this case the odds are stacked against them.

We expect Natus Vincere to take an easy win here and proceed into the Upper Bracket Semifinals where they’ll most likely face G2 Esports next.
