BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage: Odds and Predictions
As the first of multiple stages of competition, the BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage will allow eight teams to progress to the Legends Stage. The Challengers Stage will wrap up in the coming days. In this post we’re previewing select matches from this stage.
BLAST.tv Paris Major Challengers Stage Schedule
The BLAST.tv Major, one of the top CSGO tournaments, features the following three stages:
- Challengers Stage
- Legends Stage
- Champions Stage
In both the Challengers and Legends Stages, a 16-team Swiss System Format will be played that will see eight teams eliminated, while eight teams will progress to the next stage.
Involving the lowest-seeded teams, the initial matches of the Challenger Stage have already taken place.
Later today, the following scheduled matches will take place, with teams on the brink of elimination.

- Team Liquid vs Fluxo (18:30 CEST)
- GamerLegion vs MOUZ (18:30 CEST)

Team Liquid vs Fluxo Odds and Predictions
Team Liquid hasn’t been the same for a minute now. Ever since their 2nd place at the BLAST Premier World Final 2022, which surprised most of the community, this team has lacked consistency – a shadow of their 2019 run.
And now, at the BLAST.tv Major, they’ve started 0-2 down and are on the cusp of elimination.
Despite this, CSGO betting sites do favor Liquid here. Although they have an equal record at the event, Fluxo has simply been stomped on by most competition, with the worst round difference (-22) out of any team.

GamerLegion vs MOUZ Match Preview
After finishing 13-16th at the recent IEM Rio event, MOUZ were never favoured to go very far in the BLAST.tv Major.
Suffering losses to Ninjas in Pyjamas and OG, they now bring up the year of the standings. However, the good news is that their next opponent is one of the few teams ranked lower than them at this event so far.
Considering this, MOUZ are favored, but the odds aren’t too heavy in their favour as in the case of Team Liquid.
So while MOUZ are likely to win, they need to tread carefully and not give GamerLegion a lifeline in this BO1 match – remember, these are the best CSGO players in the world.
