Indeed, Regional Major Rankings (RMR) are now the standard for qualification for the top CSGO tournaments.
Ever since 2020, Valve devised RMR as a standardized means to determine how teams seed for CSGO Major for each region are calculated. Teams are then seeded into the Major in two tiers: Challengers, Legends and Contenders.
The following are the dates for the upcoming RMR events:
- European RMR A – 16 teams – 6-9th April
- European RMR B – 16 teams – 11-15th April
- American RMR – 16 teams – 6-9th April
- Asia-Pacific RMR – 8 teams – 6-9th April
Here are how seeds will be working for BLAST.tv Paris Major:

- European RMR B – Legends (x3), Challengers (x4), Contenders (x1)
- American RMR – Legends (x1), Challengers (x1), Contenders (x1)

Within each RMR, a 16-team Swiss System Format will determine how teams stack up, with opening BO1 matches followed by BO3 matches.
Apart from teams seeding as listed, in EU, the 9-11th from each RMR will fight through an EU Decider Bracket.
