Brazil Based SG Esports Tie Up Partnership With VIE.bet
Over the last year or so, there has been a concerted effort from many companies with an interest in esports to try and improve their popularity in the Latin American region.
Now one of the most popular sites to bet on esports in Brazil has teamed up with one of Brazil’s most popular esports organizations to become a partner as VIE.bet has agreed to partner with SG Esports.
As part of the deal, the teams two Dota 2 teams, CSGO squad, and their entire influencer/streaming roster will add the VIE.bet logo to their shirts as the primary sponsor.
This deal means that you will see the VIE.bet logo at The International 10, which is arguably the most important tournament for VIE.bet too given the amount of Dota 2 betting that it generates, alongside its projected $40 million prize pool.

“Expand Our Growth”
As one of the most recognizable parts of the Esports Entertainment Group of companies, VIE.bet have been looking at many different ways of expanding their presence across Brazil and other parts of Latin America, which was confirmed by the Director of VIE.bet, Bux Syed.
“We are excited to announce this partnership with SG Esports. The organization and their team has done a great job qualifying for The International this October.”
“We’re looking forward to working closely with SG Esports to further expand our growth in Brazil and the rest of Latam.”
Similarly, Mateus Cysne Barbosa, the CEO of SG Esports, was equally delighted with the partnership, commenting:
“We are honoured to share a long-term partnership with Esports Entertainment Group and their Vie.bet brand.”
“Vie.bet represents what we want for the world of betting and electronic sports – professionalism and transparency. These are the qualities we look for in our partners.”
Jostling For Position In Latin America
This new move from the Esports Entertainment Group and their brand Vie.bet is not a surprise. Many betting companies have been jostling for a position in Latin America to become one of the foremost names in the region when it comes to esports betting.
Most focus has been on Brazil, which with an estimated 12.6 million players and enthusiasts, is ranked third in the world in terms of the number of esports enthusiasts actively engaged with the community on a regular basis.
As such, by teaming up with one of Brazil’s foremost esports organizations, especially one that has earned qualification to the richest esports tournament in history, Dota 2 The International 10, is a shrewd move by Vie,bet.
With other sites like Betway, Bet365, Lootbet, LeoVegas, 1xBet, and GGBet also operating in Brazil, it was certainly important for Vie.bet to offer Brazilian fans something extra, and partnering with one of the country’s foremost esports organisations seems to be a clever and mutually beneficial move.
SG Esports earned their highly coveted place in The International 10 by winning the South America qualifier for the tournament back in June. The entirely Brazilian roster defeated Team Unknown 3-1 in the final of that event to clinch their spot in Bucharest in October.
They will join 12 invited teams, who finished in the top 12 positions in the Dota Pro Circuit, plus five other qualifiers from all over the world at the tournament which starts on October 7th and which has a prize pool already in excess of $40 million.
It is this high profile event that will appeal to Vie.bet as it seeks to become a well-known brand in the Latin American region and across the world.
