Let’s jump ahead a little this week to next weekend as StarCraft 2 players and fans will no doubt be aware that one of the two Korean Leagues part of the 2015 World Championship Series reaches its exciting climax.
The StarCraft II StarLeague Season 3 Main Event is ready to be decided.
Sixteen individuals started the event back in July and after a hugely competitive group stage, plus some exciting playoff games between the eight qualifiers, only two remain to clinch the $36,099 top prize.
The first is ByuL, 23-year-old South Korean Han Ji Won, who is also part of the CJ Entus team, is currently ranked 9th in the WCS series having amassed 4025 points. He faces a tough task however against herO, 23-year-old Kim Joon Ho.
The smiling assassin is ranked first in the WCS series and the two have clashed already in the latter stages of a tournament earlier this year in the 2015 KeSPA Cup 3rd/4th place playoff, where herO triumphed 3-0.
