CDL Stage 4 Major Betting Preview

As the fourth of five regular season events, CDL Stage 4 Major will be unique for one distinct reason. While the other events featured a live crowd, a late cancellation from the hosting organization has left this event without a crowd.

Taking place between April 20th and 23rd, the 12 franchised best Call of Duty teams in the world will be competing for the $500,000 prize pool.

In addition, teams will be doing their best to earn CDL Points which will be crucial in order to qualify for CDL Championship 2023 later this season.

With seeding determined by the Qualifiers, the format of this event involves a double elimination bracket. Overall, matches will be BO5, while the competition concludes with an epic BO7 Grand Final.

Moreover, in this betting preview, we’ll be taking a look at the opening Winners Round 1 matches, selecting three fantastic betting opportunities as scheduled below:

20th April

21st April

In order to preview these matches, we’ve gathered all the odds provided by GG.Bet. Being one of the top esports betting platforms in the industry, find out more about the features of this site in our GG.Bet review.

CDL Stage 4 Major – Odds and Predictions

New York Subliners vs Las Vegas Legion

For the first time in the history of the Call of Duty League, Legion find themselves starting in the Upper Bracket.

Moreover, this is thanks to a schedule which favoured them and their new roster change properly paying off.

However, New York Subliners is a tough opponent, a team that were crowned champions at the Stage 1 Major. Bearing this in mind, NYSL are favoured.

OpTic Texas vs Boston Breach

Next up is a rather one-sided affair, with favourites OpTic Texas going up against the likes of Boston Breach.

At the last Major, these two teams traded blows, both in 3-0 fashion. However, this time around, OpTic Texas are in a different run of form and look to go deep into the tournament.

Seattle Surge vs Atlanta FaZe

Our third pick is a legendary match up in the history of the Call of Duty League and a Call of Duty betting highlight.

Accordingly, Seattle Surge is one of the few teams that have consistently taken down FaZe. Considering, FaZe’s recent dip in form, there may be those that doubt them.

However, Seattle have also struggled recently, and FaZe remain the most successful CDL franchise of all time – the odds are in their favour here.
