Cloud9 vs ENCE Match Preview

Cloud9

In spite of Cloud9’s former star player Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov’s recent departure from the roster, the Russian-majority squad seems to be getting on fine without the AWPer. However, they did have an off tournament at BetBoom Dacha, where they suffered two tough losses courtesy of MIBR and their fellow countrymen in BetBoom.

Cloud9’s performance at the event is largely dependent on the form that Denis “electroNic” Sharipov and Sergey “Ax1Le” Rykhtorov will be in. These two players have the ability to completely take over the server and control the game for their team.

ENCE

ENCE’s rise to the top of professional Counter-Strike has been largely attributed to the leadership duo of Marco “Snappi” Pffeifer and Eetu “sAw” Saha. However, the pair departed the roster a few weeks ago and have since been replaced by the most decorated in-game leader in the history of CS:GO, Lukas gla1ve” Rossander and a vastly experienced coach Jakub “kuben” Gurczyński.

The team’s first outing with their new lineup wasn’t perfect, but now all the ENCE players have had some time to practice and gel together, which should bode well for their chances in Abu Dhabi.
