With the reveal of the LA Thieves super team, CoD rostermania has reached its peak as most rosters have already been confirmed for the 2024/25 CDL season. Read on as we summarize the most significant storylines from CoD rostermania.
LA Thieves Super Team – Unspeakable
The headline for CoD rostermania is the unspeakable LA Thieves super team. Somehow, 100 Thieves managed to keep their best player and combine them with the best sub and AR players from the past season according to CoD betting.
Here’s what the roster looks like:
- Daniel “Ghosty” Rothe
- Dylan “Envoy” Hannon (Ultra)
- Thomas “Scrappy” Ernst (Ultra)
- Paco “HyDra” Rusiewiez (Cloud9)
Having “HyDra” and “Scrappy” on the same roster is unbelievable and makes this team an instant favourite at every tournament this season.
Indeed, this will influence LA Thieves’ esports odds considerably.
Toronto Ultra – Falling Apart?
For the past few seasons, Toronto Ultra has established itself as a top 4 Call of Duty League organization.
Winning the CDL Stage 1 Major, Ultra looked unbeatable at one point this season in terms of esports betting. However, with the contract situation, both “Envoy” and “Scrappy” were destined to be free agents at the end of this season.

OpTic and FaZe – No Movement
Meanwhile, OpTic and FaZe aren’t making a single change.
As the two most dominant teams from the past season of the Call of Duty League, no movement has emerged from either camp.
While nobody expected OpTic to change, there was some doubt over FaZe considering their poor performance at CDL Championships. However, after winning the Esports World Cup, this FaZe team isn’t going anywhere.

When it comes to CoD rostermania, not all teams are made equal.
Hence, outside of the top 3 teams that are clear-cut the best teams, nobody is sure which team will place fourth.
