CS:GO Superstar f0rest Picks His All Star Counter-Strike Squad
Picking a fantasy team is big business nowadays. Across the United States and Europe, many people enjoy fantasy sports and esports fantasy betting in one form or another. Overall, it’s great fun to pick what you think is a team comprising the best of the best.
Certainly, the bosses at Betway, the esports-friendly betting company agree. In turn, they invited in Patrick “f0rest” Lindberg for a chat about which five players he felt would make it into his Counter-Strike dream team.
Before we reveal who made the final cut for f0rest, let’s first learn a little more about why Betway selected him for this task. (Read also our Betway review and how to open Betway account.)
Who is f0rest?
Born in Upplands Väsby in Sweden, Patrick Lindberg has established himself as one of the foremost CS:GO players in the world today. Known by his pseudonym f0rest, he began his career in 2005 with Begrip Gaming and performed so well he was soon on the radar of Fnatic, who signed him up to their Counter-Strike team in 2006.
It was here that f0rest came to prominence. He played a key role over the next four years in turning the Fnatic squad into the record-breaking, highest-earning team in Counter-Strike history.
After four hugely successful years, f0rest left Fnatic to join up with SK Gaming, where he spent another two successful years playing Counter-Strike.
By July 2012, f0rest started a new challenge, transitioning from Counter-Strike to CS:GO. At this time, he moved from SK Gaming to Ninjas in Pyjamas, where he has remained a key player ever since.

Who makes it into f0rest’s dream team?
As one of the main sponsors of f0rest’s Ninjas in Pyjamas esports team, Betway invited him into the offices for the aforementioned interview/fantasy draft. This was his mission: to pick the greatest ever Counter-Strike team, across all iterations of the game.
His first pick was former SK Gaming teammate RobbaN. f0rest called him a “great team leader” and ideally suited to playing on the team, even if the majority of fans still viewed him more as a team manager than a player.
His next pick was Walle, who f0rest said was a “great player” who “used the sniper well” particularly in the earlier 1.5 and 1.6 versions of the game. Then, for the role of entry fragger, f0rest selected Zet, who he called “an insane player, often regarded as my rival.”
When it came to the role of lurker, f0rest was unequivocal in picking his long term friend from Fnatic and SK Gaming and current teammate on Ninjas in Pyjamas: Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund.
Finally, to round off this superstar team, f0rest picked—wait for it—himself. So here’s the final lineup:
- Captain AWPer – RobbaN
- Rifler – Walle
- Entry Fragger – Zet
- Lurker – GeT_RiGhT
- Rifler/AWPer – f0rest
