CS:GO ICE Challenge 2020 is an upcoming esports event of great significance. The tournament brings together eight teams and provides numerous esports betting opportunities for those who like to bet on CS:GO. World-class competitors like Natus Vincere, mousesports and ENCE will attend the event, so you do not want to miss this one. In this article, I will analyze the groups and the ICE Challenge 2020 betting options.

CS:GO ICE Challenge 2020 Competitive Format

CS:GO ICE Challenge will be played in two stages. The Group Stage consists of two groups. In each of these groups, the winner advances to the Semifinals. The 2nd and 3rd place teams advance to the Quarterfinals. The Playoffs Stage consists of five matches. Every one of them is Bo3. The same Bo3 format will be used for groups as well. Except here, instead of single-elimination, the competitive format will be GSL (double-elimination).

Group A

  • Heroic
  • MAD Lions
  • mousesports
  • pro

In this group, the main contenders are mousesports, Heroic, and MAD Lion. As for Virtus.pro, even though they now have a formidable roster, at their latest tournament they got demolished and as a result, my confidence in them is quite low at this point.

The big favorite to win this group is mousesports. At their last four events, they won three titles and had a Grand Final loss against Vitality. So four Finals out of four tournaments. And these were not small events either. Based on these results, I would argue that mousesports is probably going to win CS:GO ICE Challenge 2020.

Group B

  • ENCE
  • GODSENT
  • Natus Vincere
  • OG

In Group B, the battle for the top three places will be much tougher than in Group A. And that’s because all of the four teams are either excellent or have at least a few strong players. The underdog here is OG, but only because they’re a newly formed team. Everyone knows about the OG organization from Dota 2, where they became the first team in the history of the game to win two Internationals (World Championships). But now they want to conquer CS:GO as well.

The two big favorites in this group are ENCE and Natus Vincere. Either of them could win, although Na’Vi probably has a slight advantage in this race, by virtue of having the best CS:GO player of all time in their roster. No doubt, s1mple is hungry for victory again. His last title came 9 months ago, which probably feels like an eternity for someone of his caliber.

The main problem with Na’Vi is that they recently benched GuardiaN and brought in a relatively unknown player called Perfecto. In remains to be seen what the 24 year old Russian can do to help his team.

ICE Challenge Betting Odds and Predictions

Here are our CSGO betting tips. Initially, the ICE Challenge 2020 betting options will be the following four:

  • mousesports vs. MAD Lions: 1.24 – 3.87
  • pro vs. Heroic: 1.75 – 2.03
  • Natus Vincere vs. GODSENT: 1.14 – 5.32
  • OG vs. ENCE: 2.46 – 1.52

By far, the best of these ICE Challenge 2020 betting opportunities is the first one, simply because mousesports is almost guaranteed to win their Bo3 match against MAD Lions. At the same time, it’s probably worth taking a bet against Na’Vi at these odds. Given their recent roster change, the team might collapse under pressure.
