CS:GO Thunderpick Bitcoin Series Confirmed For January 2022 Start

Esports betting site Thunderpick has announced that its first bitcoin tournament, the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series, will commence on the 17th January, lasting through until the 7th March.
The CS:GO based event will be the first tournament run by Thunderpick that offers a bitcoin prize pool, with a prize confirmed of 1.2 Bitcoin (with a minimum prize pool of $75,000 guaranteed).
However, as is the case with Bitcoin, its volatile nature means that by the end of the Thunderpick tournament 2022 playoffs, there is no guessing as to what the value of the prize may be. However, Thunderpick are guaranteeing that the prize pool will be worth no less than $75,000)
Thunderpick Bitcoin Series Details
A total of 23 teams, the identities of which will be revealed at a later date, will be in the Thunderpick Bitcoin series aiming for a chance to win a share of that 1.2 Bitcoin prize pool.
This initial tournament will be a three-stage tournament which starts with the closed qualifier, where four teams will face double elimination and only the winners will earn themselves a chance to progress forward to the next stage.
The main stage of the Thunderpick Bitcoin Series will feature 16 teams competing against each other for one of the eight places that are available in the Final Stage.
The Final Stage of the tournament will feature the eight qualifiers from the Main Stage, plus four additional ‘quest teams’.
These final 12 teams will then compete against each other until the winner is decided and receives the lion’s share of the bitcoin prize pool.
