Decisive Matches in March at the NA LCS 2020 Spring Edition

Team Liquid has dominated the NA LCS over the last couple of years and was expected to win the 2020 Spring Split with relative ease. An unfortunate mix of roster issues and visa problems have set them back and sent them crashing through the standings.

Cloud9 took full advantage of the situation and five weeks after the start of the season, they are the only undefeated team in the LCS. We are halfway through with the Spring Split and this is definitely the team to beat, but the race is closer than ever.

Cloud9 are the NA LCS 2020 Team to Beat

Cloud9 are head and shoulders above their competitors, winning all 10 games played so far. It never felt like they were in danger of losing these matches, which they dominated from start to finish and things are unlikely to change in the foreseeable future. Online bookmakers were quick to adjust the LCS Odds and now betting on Cloud9 will only produce marginal winnings. The high rates of success, as well as the exceptional synergy between team members, make this team a clear favorite to win the Spring Split.

Keep an Eye on FlyQuest and TSM

FlyQuest have exceeded expectations by winning 7 out of 10 matches, in spite of making few changes to their starting formation. They decided to stick to the same team and compared to last season, they played much better, which reflects in the standings. LoL betting sites continue to underprice this team, so it is worth keeping an eye on them and back them throughout the Spring Split.

TSM come in 3rd place and they are just a few wins away to secure their presence in the playoffs. They have tremendous experience and will try to take advantage of Team Liquid’s struggles to reemerge as one of the top NA LCS teams.

New Teams Thrive in the NA LCS 2020

Immortals and Dignitas are tied in the fourth place with five wins and five defeats each and have a decent shot at making the playoffs. They have the merit of defeating the teams standing below them in the NA LCS standings, to consolidate their own position. In spite of recently joining the league, these teams have experienced players who can carry them during the tough times. Evil Geniuses are just a step behind them, but they have a strong group, with players worth considering by Fantasy LCS fans.

No Hope for CLG This Spring Split

Counter Logic Gaming was a force to be reckoned with in the NA LCS last season, but the team is in disarray. With a single victory in 10 games, they have no chance whatsoever to qualify for the playoffs and sit in the last place. They still have some amazing players and on a good day, this team could defeat virtually anyone, so punters should consider them when the odds are high enough.
