Dignitas adds two to Valorant Roster

Dignitas have finally completed their Valorant roster by signing Noah “rara” Giesbrecht and Ryan “ryann” Welsh. The two players joined the organisation back in January, and after a month of trials, they’ve managed to secure full-time spots in the team.

The promising new talent

Both rara and ryann bring something new and fresh to the Dignitas roster, one with a background in Valorant, the other with extensive experience in CS:GO.

Before joining Dignitas, rara was a part of T1 Academy. Although the team would quickly disband, rara used that time to gain experience and sharpen his skills. With Dignitas, he was finally in his element and performed exceptionally well during the second round of Valorant Champions Tour Open Qualifiers. With an impressive K/D/A ratio and an incredible headshot percentage of 37%, he was a scary opponent.

Although ryann’s competitive experience in Valorant doesn’t come close to rara’s, he more than makes up for that with his CS:GO reputation. Over the span of several years, he’s been a part of teams such as Team Singularity, Team Envy, Triumph, Swole Patrol and others. With Team Singularity, he won two tournaments, and another one later on with Triumph. When it comes to Valorant, he was briefly a part of Moon Raccoons on trial, but that lasted days before the entire team decided to go their own separate ways.

What’s next for Dignitas?

Dignitas have finally completed their roster and will be looking to use the extra time to practice and improve, seeing how they won’t be competing during the third round of Open Qualifiers in the Valorant Champions Tour due to psalm’s recent surgery. This could be a blessing in disguise for the team because now they can start fresh without any pressure.

Ever since entering the Valorant scene back in August last year, the team has been going through multiple changes and they haven’t been able to fully settle for a roster until now. This was also reflected in their past performance, where they haven’t really made any significant impact in the events they participated in.

Still, they don’t plan on giving up. Many other teams are in their shoes, especially when we consider how young Valorant still is, so the entire scene is in a process of development and nothing is set in stone. In a climate like this, yesterday’s winners could be today’s losers and vice versa, so it’s important for Dignitas to keep their chin up and continue forward. Who knows, perhaps they’ll come out stronger than ever in just a few months, and completely change the NA scene.
