The DreamHack Masters Malmo kicks off today and the week-long tournament promises to deliver the best in esports betting action. 16 teams will be going head-to-head in a bid to get a share of the $250,000 prize pool.

The 2019 DreamHack Masters runs from Tuesday 1 October until Sunday 6 October. The CSGO contest has a group format and play-off rounds.

The group stages cover three days of Counter Strike action between 1 and 3 October. There will be two double-elimination groups that both contain eight teams. The first matches of the group stages are best-of-one, while the following matches will be best-of-three.
Only the top three teams from each group will then go through to the knock-out rounds. The two winners of each group will go straight into the semi-finals. The runners-up in each group will go into quarter-finals as high seeds, while the third-placed team in each group will be placed as low seeds into the quarter-finals.
These knock-out rounds run from 4 to 6 October. They are all best-of-three matches in a single elimination bracket. The winner of the 2019 DreamHack Masters will get $100,000 of the total prize pool of $250,000. They will also get a seed placement for the IEM Katowice contest.
The second placed team will receive $50,000 in prize winnings, while the third and fourth placed teams will receive $22,000 each. Here is a quick rundown of the competing teams:
