DreamLeague Major Bets and Predictions: Playoffs Stage Day 3

The Playoffs Stage of DreamLeague Major has begun and four of the 16 participants are already out of the race. In this article, I will take a close look at what happened during the Group Stage and first two days of Playoffs and then provide my list of DreamLeague Dota 2 predictions for the next matches.

In order to find the best DreamLeague Major bets, we need to look at what happened during the groups and the first round of Playoffs matches.
Group Stage
In Group A, Nigma and Fnatic emerged victorious after a rather surprising series of events. In particular, Fnatic had the easy challenge of competing against Team Aster twice. So they got crushed by Nigma but then never faced TNC Predator, which somehow managed to lose twice in a row. That’s very surprising for a team that won the first Dota Pro Circuit Major of the season. However, this underperformance could be a direct result of that victory. When you’re qualified for The International after the first DPC event of the season, your desire to train hard and win can dissipate very quickly.
In Group B, Team Secret and Vici Gaming unsurprisingly won the Upper Bracket spots over beastcoast and Chaos Esports Club. A lot of people had expected VG to win the group, but the winner was Secret.
Group C had another big upset, at least in light of what happened last season and the season before that. Virtus.pro went from being one of the best teams in the world to being just another team. After failing to win any matches in Group C (even against Reality Rift), the CIS team quickly got eliminated in the first round of Lower Bracket matches. The winners in Group C were Invictus Gaming and Alliance.
And finally, in Group D we had Natus Vincere and Evil Geniuses occupying the first two positions. This was another big upset. Na’Vi was not expected to make it to the Upper Bracket and was definitely not expected to win the group over EG. But that’s exactly what happened. Once again, Team Liquid showed serious weaknesses in the process.
Playoffs Day 1
The first day of the Playoffs saw EG triumph over Nigma and VG over IG. That was in the Upper Bracket. In the Lower Bracket, beastcoast, Aster, TNC Predator and Liquid managed to beat paiN Gaming, Chaos EC, Reality Rift and Virtus.pro respectively.
Playoffs Day 2
On the second day, Team Secret and Alliance won their Upper Bracket matches against Fnatic and Na’Vi respectively, while beastcoast and Invictus Gaming managed to beat Nigma and Team Aster in the Lower Bracket.
Dota 2 Betting Opportunities
