EEG Launches US-Based Esports Betting Platform,

In March of 2018, the Esports Entertainment Group revealed, then-dubbed the ‘world’s safest, most secure, and transparent esports wagering platform’. Now, following a short ‘soft play’ period, is finally open to public wagering, with the platform going live within the state of New Jersey, USA. It’s a huge leap forward for the Esports Entertainment Group, now standing as the first operator to be given the rights to launch fully-licensed esports betting operations within New Jersey.

As of today (4th April), is open for business to residents of New Jersey. This is a huge win for esports betting in general, with the 11th most populous state in America opening up and recognising the true potential and value of the industry.

In a report published by SportsBettingDime in March 2022, it was revealed that, in 2020, New Jersey boasted the highest annual sports betting handle in the nation. As esports as an industry continues to grow at an eye-watering rate, organisations like the Esports Entertainment Group are all too eager to take advantage of the growth.

Typically, there are few betting sites that operate in the USA. It’s a restricted market overall, but the birth of is a progressive move that may lead to more online betting sites cropping up in the future. However, few may have the driving power behind them that has, given that it is the brainchild of the EEG, a Malta-headquartered organisation trading on the NASDAQ. It’s a titan of esports, having been working in the industry for almost 15 years, servicing esports organisations around the world.
