Let’s take a closer look at the teams.

Vitality – V for Victory

Team Vitality looks untouchable and is the CS2 betting favourite at the ESL Pro League.

After finishing 1st at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2024, this powerhouse is on top of Counter-Strike and shouldn’t sweat to finish first in this group to clench their spot at the Playoffs.

Favoured in every match, any loss in ESL Pro League Group D for Vitality would be a huge upset.

Liquid Look Leaky

Team Liquid is not the same team that finished 7-8th at IEM Dallas 2024 and 5-8th at ESL Pro League Season 19.

After a rough season, Liquid revealed two roster changes in July, with a double roster change bringing on “ultimate” and “jks” together with a new head coach.

Since this change, the team has finished well at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024 and IEM Rio NA Qualifier. After a month, the honeymoon phase is over and this team is in the process of improving.

Virtus.pro – Third Seed?

A tonne of excitement surrounded Virtus.pro once they picked up the former Natus Vincere star, electroNic.

In terms of CS2 match betting, they instantly improved after finishing 3-4th at both the BLAST Premier Spring Final and the Esports World Cup 2024.

Yet, that short spur of excitement was soon over after this team finished 13-16th at both BLAST Premier: Fall Groups and IEM Cologne 2024.

Considering their shaky history and recent losses to Team Falcons, we’re not sure where this team stands in ESL Pro League Group D.

Fourth – Falcons or FURIA?

Dreaming of being a super team, Team Falcons is nowhere near that right now for CS2 live betting.

Averaging a 9-12th finish in the season so far, their last finish at the ESL Pro League was a shocking 21-28th. Recently in August, they have improved with a Tier 2 win (over Virtus.pro) and a 7-8th finish at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade.

Meanwhile, FURIA is competing for that fourth spot and has looked a lot more impressive than Falcons. Finishing 5-6th at EWC 2024 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade, FURIA has managed to keep up with the best.

Facing off one another early, Falcons and FURIA will need to settle their differences quickly in ESL Pro League Group D.
