ESL Pro League Season 13‘s Group B is arguably the most stacked group in the event. The two French CS:GO powerhouses in Team Vitality and G2 Esports spearheading the group will almost certainly be given a run for their money by the surging Ninjas in Pyjamas and FaZe Clan.
Both French teams are currently on a back foot due to recent roster changes, with G2 Esports replacing kennyS with JaCkz, and Team Vitality benching Nivera for the foreseeable future.
Rounding out the group, both mousesports and ENCE are looking outmatched and outgunned, but it would be foolish to count both teams out just yet. With so many variables in Group B’s equation, be prepared for more than just a couple of surprises along the way.
Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. FaZe Clan (Day Three)
This matchup will more likely than not determine the third team that advances to the Playoffs. Both NiP and FaZe are on equal footing after the first two days of play, and sporting a loss against one of the French teams.
The players to look out for heading into the matchup will be NiP’s REZ and FaZe’s broky. REZ has shot the lights out in the Ninjas’ first two matches and is currently sporting a 1.33 rating for the event. Broky on the other hand had a monstrous series against mouz, almost single-handedly securing FaZe’s clean sweep.
In terms of map pool, both teams play roughly the same rotation. FaZe will be looking for their chances on Mirage, a map NiP has underperformed in the last three months. NiP will look to pick either Inferno or Nuke, with Dust2 remaining as the kicker.
Heading into the matchup, there’s good value bet potential on NiP seeing as they are the underdogs heading into the series.

Team Vitality vs. mousesports (Day Three)
Vitality is hands down the better team in this series. After a 2-0 loss to G2, Vitality will almost certainly look to gather momentum and get their spirits up against the struggling mouz side.
Mousesport’s only chance of winning the series will be through shutting down ZywOo, a nearly impossible feat to ask from them in their current state. Mouz’s Ropz had a monstrous series against ENCE, but it is frozen who has been the anchor for the German side so far in the tournament.
Both teams play a solid Nuke, but mousesports will have to look for their chances on Inferno or Vertigo if they want to even have a chance of winning this series.
All in all, expect a clean and dominating showing from Vitality, mouz has next to no chance.

G2 Esports vs. mousesports (Day Five)
If there’s anything we’ve learned from the first two days of ESL Pro League Season 13’s Group B, it’s that G2 Esports is finally here. Although it pains us to say it, kennyS’s benching has had an instant impact on the team, which they showed in their dismantling of Vitality.
In this matchup, G2 Esports are the absolute favorites. If all goes according to plan for NiKo & co., G2 will look to secure first place in Group B against mousesports.
Funnily enough, it’s not NiKo who mouz should be worried about, but rather his cousin huNter-. While NiKo is still settling into his main AWPer role, it’s huNter who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to secure G2’s victories so far.
In terms of map picks, both teams play the same pick. G2 will look to get rid of Train early on, which is the only map mouz can give them a severe headache on. Other than that, G2 just outguns the Germans on any other map.
Expect G2 to dominate mouz.
