ESL Pro League Season 17 Group C – Two Favourites

Having kicked off back on 22nd February, the Group Stage has involved 8 groups of four. Indeed, taking place offline in Malta, there’s a total of $850,000 on the line. From each group, only the best four teams have progressed to the next stage.

As a reminder, should you not have checked out our previous ESL Pro League betting articles, each group consists of an identical format. Specifically, a BO3 triple-elimination bracket means that every team has three lifelines to stay in the tournament – lose three times and you are eliminated.

Running from 8th March to 12th March, take a look at the opening matches below:

8th March 2023 – Upper Bracket Quarterfinals

  • FaZe Clan vs Rooster (16:00 CET)
  • paiN Gaming vs Ninjas in Pyjamas (16:00 CET)
  • OG vs 00 Nation (19:30 CET)
  • Grayhound vs Team Vitality (19:30 CET)

For your espots bets, we highly recommend BC.Game as the platform of choice, as a prime example of a crypto betting specialist. As we mentioned in our BC.Game review, the crypto-based platform with over 40 different cryptocurrencies supports a wide variety of esports betting. Specifically, their deep range of CSGO betting markets is worth checking out, especially for this event.

Moreover, BC.Game is offering some awesome bonuses and promotions, with a series of 4 deposit bonuses. Starting things off with a 270% bonus on your first deposit is incredible with this CSGO betting site.

FaZe Clan vs Rooster

Within these opening matches, there are a number of one-sided match-ups. To begin with, FaZe Clan, who have won multiple CSGO tournaments last year and sit 4th in the ESL World Ranking will very likely dominate Rooster here in this BO3.

  • Predictions: FaZe Clan (2-0) Rooster
  • Odds: FaZe Clan Outright Win (1.06)
  • Betting Site: BC.Game

paiN Gaming vs Ninjas in Pyjamas

Moreover, this next match looks to be tighter than the previous match. Within both the rankings and previous event, Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023, this match looks to be heavily contested. Regardless, NiP are more favoured here thanks to their better placings and stronger roster.

  • Predictions: Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1) paiN Gaming
  • Odds: Ninjas in Pyjamas Outright Win (1.32)
  • Betting Site: BC.Game

OG vs 00 Nation

Taking place next, we have another showdown between Europe and South America. Specifically, with the odds in favour of OG, they  are the clear favourites thanks to their higher ESL World Ranking. Also, the fact that 00 Nation didn’t attend the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 event puts them at a disadvntage.

  • Predictions: OG (2-0) 00 Nations
  • Odds: OG Outright Win (1.26)
  • Betting Site: BC.Game

Grayhound vs Team Vitality

Once again, a repetitive situation summarizes the final match – Team Vitality are huge favourites when facing Grayhound. Overall, sitting in 7th place in the ESL World Ranking, Team Vitality are favourites to win the entire event should they make it through to the Playoffs.

  • Predictions: Team Vitality (2-0) Grayhound
  • Odds: Team Vitality Outright Win (1.04)
  • Betting Site: BC.Game
