Round of 16 Predictions
Fnatic vs Monte
Fnatic were, by no means, a favourite in their respective group. However, they managed to confirm everyone’s predictions by finishing third under FaZe Clan and Natus Vincere. In the process, they played FaZe Clan rather closely, sending it to a final map.
Meanwhile, Monte did disappoint slightly, falling as expected to ENCE and BIG in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. However, their additional loss to MIBR wasn’t quite expected.
Although they managed to bounce back with clutch wins over Heroic and MIBR, the CSGO odds marginally favour Fnatic here.
- Predictions: Fnatic (2-1) Monte
- Odds: Fnatic Outright Win (-133), Monte Outright Win (+106)

MOUZ vs FURIA Esports
MOUZ may have lost their opening match in Group B against MIBR, but then they went on a tear in the Mid Bracket – qualifying without losing a single map in three matches.
FURIA’s path was rather similar, however in the Mid Bracket Semifinal, they lost to Astralis, having to then qualify by beating out GamerLegion.
Apart from being a higher seed, MOUZ seemingly faced tougher competition on their path to qualification.
- Predictions: MOUZ (2-1) FURIA Esports
- Odds: MOUZ Outright Win (-172), FURIA Esports Outright Win (+136)

Astralis vs Eternal Fire
Anyone who has been around CSGO for long enough will know that Astralis has quite the legacy, especially compared tot he likes of Eternal Fire. In this particular match-up, Astralis has done well enough to be considered the favourite here.
Moreover, Eternal Fire fought through what many in the community considered to be the least competitive of the four groups at ESL Pro League S18. However, they’ll probably take this match to the final map.
- Predictions: Astralis (2-1) Eternal Fire
- Odds: Astralis Outright Win (-196), Eternal Fire Outright Win (+153)
