ESL Pro League S20 is in the final stages, and we’ve now reached the Semi-Finals of this prestigious CS2 tournament. The four semifinalists are now locked in, with MIBR vs. Eternal Fire and NAVI vs. G2/Liquid. Who will come out on top?

MIBR vs. Eternal Fire
Up first in the ESL Pro League S20 Semi-Finals is MIBR vs. Eternal Fire. Both of these teams come into this matchup in red-hot form. MIBR has had to overcome a better-looking Heroic and an impressive M80, while Eternal Fire beat the odds to come out on top against Vitality in a close clash.
Considering how they’ve both been playing, it’s difficult to separate these two teams, but Eternal Fire has the higher ceiling. Getting XANTARES and Wicadia online will be critical to their success in Malta. MIBR will look to saffee and insani to deliver the goods to take down Eternal Fire, although we’re giving the Turkish team a slight advantage on paper. Our prediction: MIBR 1:2 Eternal Fire.

Eternal Fire is a team that seems to be paid by the round, with maps often going to overtime lately. There could be good value in Rounds Over/Under markets here, and considering how close this match should be, Maps Over/Under should be a similar story.
NAVI vs. G2
On paper, NAVI vs. G2 is the big matchup of the ESL Pro League S20 Semi-Finals. Both teams are playing a fun brand of CS right now, and we should be in for a banger. As to be expected from the two best CS2 teams, the firepower is absurd, with any of malbsMd, NiKo, or m0NESY able to take over a game at a moment’s notice. However, I feel NAVI has one significant advantage. Aleksib and B1ad3 are a more potent IGL / coach duo than Snax and TaZ on a tactical level, which should allow NAVI to outcall G2 round by round.
Because of this, our prediction here is NAVI 2:0 G2. Last time out, NAVI beat G2 2:1 at the Esports World Cup back in July, and we think that there will be a more dominant repeat this time around. If G2 wins, it’ll be down to individual brilliance above all else.
If you’re betting on NAVI vs. G2, consider some more unconventional markets. These are two teams with tons of swagger, playing to entertain just as much as to win.
