- Open Stage – 32 players competing in a double elimination bracket, BO3 matches – 4 players seed into Knockout Bracket
- Seeding Stage – 16 regional players compete in 2 brackets – performance determines seeding into Knockout Bracket
- Knockout Bracket – an epic bracket with the remaining competitors, only eight move onto the Playoffs
- Playoffs – single elimination bracket

ESL SC2 Masters Summer Predictions
Solar vs ByuN
The last time these two players met up, was back at the 2023 Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S – one of the best Starcraft II tournaments.
Back then, both players pulled off a rather impressive run, with ByuN finishing 3-4th and Solar finishing 7-8th.
Moreover, these are two of the best South Korean players in the world, facing off in the first round similar to other match-ups featured.
Considering that ByuN outperformed Solar at the most recent Premier event, ByuN is favoured here.

Gumiho vs Cure
On the topic of South Korean stars, Cure recently finished second at the mentioned Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S. In addition, the rising star has recently won the World Team League 2022 Winter.
In comparison, Gumiho is striving for excellence, but he hasn’t managed to walk away with a trophy since 2017.
