ESL SC2 Masters Summer Predictions

Solar vs ByuN

The last time these two players met up, was back at the 2023 Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S – one of the best Starcraft II tournaments.

Back then, both players pulled off a rather impressive run, with ByuN finishing 3-4th and Solar finishing 7-8th.

Moreover, these are two of the best South Korean players in the world, facing off in the first round similar to other match-ups featured.

Considering that ByuN outperformed Solar at the most recent Premier event, ByuN is favoured here.

Gumiho vs Cure

On the topic of South Korean stars, Cure recently finished second at the mentioned Global StarCraft II League Season 1: Code S. In addition, the rising star has recently won the World Team League 2022 Winter.

In comparison, Gumiho is striving for excellence, but he hasn’t managed to walk away with a trophy since 2017.

Bearing this in mind, Cure is expected to continue performing, starting with this match as backed by the esports betting sites.

Oliveira vs Clem

This third match up is an international one, with Clem representing France and Oliveira from China.

For those unaware, Oliveira is the reigning World Champion, after placing first at the IEM Katowice 2023 event.

Meanwhile, Clem recently placed 3rd at their respective ESL SC2 Masters Summer Europe event.

In this match-up, Clem definitely have a chance, but Oliveira remains the favourites as described by the esports odds.
