Esports Technologies’ app surpasses 100,000 downloads
Esports Technologies, an esports technology and wagering company, has just announced that their Esports Games app has just reached a significant milestone.
Mobile gaming is very popular and Esports Games, the free to play prediction app has just hit 100,000 downloads on the Apple and Google app stores.
The App
Esports Technologies launched their Esports Games app at the end of May 2021. The app allows players to win cash prizes by testing their esports prediction and trivia skills. Players can make real-time predictions on tons of different esports titles like League of Legends, Dota 2, CSGO, Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Valorant, and Overwatch.
All you need to do is select an event for one of these games and make a prediction. You could estimate the length of a match, number of maps that will exist in a game, total number of kills, etc. if you win the prediction, you could be in with a chance to get a cash prize. This is about as close as you can get to mobile betting without actually wagering any of your own money.
The growth of the app
Since the app was released back in May, the company has seen a solid growth in userbase. Their daily and monthly downloads have been gradually increasing with the biggest spike in player base coming in July. In July, the company saw 49,000 unique downloads of their app, almost half of their entire download base.
Esports Technologies
Esports Technologies is a company that provides esports wagering products and technologies for various different betting sites. They have recently begun operating their own wagering platform, Gogwai.com. This is an esports betting site that operates in Japan, Brazil, and Thailand. These are market areas that have a rapidly growing esports market as well as popular live streaming options. The growth of their app with its free to play predictions could be an interesting indicator of how the company plans to grow their existing esports betting options.
Comment from Esports Technologies
Bart Barden, the COO of Esports Technologies, spoke about their new download milestone in a press release from the company:
“Our Esports Games app is an exciting way for fans to engage with esports in real time, on any device or platform. The app is seeing tremendous momentum and crossing the 100,000-download milestone is just the beginning. We will never stop looking for ways to bring esports fans closer to the action and enhance their viewing experience.”
The future of the company
Only a couple of months ago, Esports Technologies filed a patent for a technology that enhances the betting experience for sports and esports live streaming events. Their new patent filing covers a wide range of streaming platforms. This means that their new proprietary technology can integrate sports and esports wagering across platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Amazon TV & Gaming, Facebook Gaming, and Hulu. This patent could integrate their technologies directly onto the live streaming services.
Esports Games may not be the most popular esports app, but their dedication to innovations like the app and their new live streaming patent shows that they are primed and ready for the future.
