FaZe Clan Partners With MoonPay

Following the success of many prominent esports brands, North America’s FaZe Clan has partnered with MoonPay. The partnership will open up possibilities for cryptocurrency payments and the creative use of NFTs.
As FaZe Clan’s official cryptocurrency partner, Moonpay will serve as the group’s media and content partner. The two organizations will also collaborate on various initiatives, including the NFT and digital goods initiative.
A Significant Partnership
FaZe Clan and Moonpay have partnered to create a crypto economy that will allow users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies easily in a multi-year partnership. Through the partnership, users will have instant access to the crypto economy. It will enable them to buy and sell cryptocurrencies and NFTs conveniently and securely.
The partnership marks MoonPay’s most significant partnership yet and establishes it as the official crypto and NFT partner of FaZe Clan. As its official partner, MoonPay will serve as the company’s preferred payment platform. FaZe Clan will benefit from MoonPay’s expertise in crypto, NFTs, and security, and both parties will collaborate on various content and media activations.
This lucrative partnership will also create a digital goods business called ‘FaZe Forever.’ The company will focus on three core pillars: Curating & Collecting, Creating and Collaborating, and Spotlighting & Elevating.
The FaZe Clan partnership will include a series of original content in 2022 across both platforms. The content will be developed in-house by MoonPay and targeted to the FaZe Clan audience.

Why Is This a Good Deal?
The partnership between MoonPay and FaZe Clan was officially launched on December 4, 2018, at the Art Basel-Miami event. The event featured digital art, fashion, and NFTs from the community. FaZe Clan believes that NFTs could also be used for a whole lot more. This includes the ability to restrict access to events and content creation. For instance, it could handle press access for limited media coverage events.
This also marks the first time FaZe Clan has partnered up with a cryptocurrency company. It follows the actions of established esports brands such as Fnatic, Astralis, TSM, Team Liquid, and others. This is also the first esports venture for Moonpay. With digital goods becoming more prevalent, FaZe Clan aims to provide its community with ways to interact with the metaverse.
