FaZe Clan Welcomes SteelSeries As Peripheral Sponsor
North American esports organization FaZe Clan has named SteelSeries as an official peripheral partner. The Danish gaming gear manufacturer will provide hardware for all FaZe Clan members competing in a variety of esports titles.
Top team adding top gear
Both companies are among the leaders in their respective fields. Competing in Call of Duty, Overwatch, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Rainbow Six Siege, FIFA, and Fortnite, the esports organization became top tier thanks to its hugely successful CS:GO roster, among other things.
“FaZe Clan and their ability to drive a collective passion through knowledge and dedication is unparalleled,” said SteelSeries Global Esports Manager Tony Trubridge. “We’re incredibly proud to officially partner with the team and to equip them with the ultimate esports products.”
SteelSeries will provide team members with headsets, mice, keyboards, and mouse mats. The company’s logo will be placed on FaZe Clan’s jerseys. Embracing the growth and popularity of esports, the company currently sponsors Evil Geniuses, Cavs Legion CC, and North Gaming.
Additionally, SteelSeries announced a partnership with the PUBG Corporation recently, which should enrich the game’s one-year anniversary.
“SteelSeries has a rich history of working with legendary talent and is a welcome partner to FaZe Clan,” said FaZe Clan Head Erick Anderson. “SteelSeries sets the bar for the superior products that our teams and players need as they continue to build their legacy.”
Making a name for itself
FaZe Clan’s other partnerships include American energy drink brand G FUEL and UK-based custom gaming controller producer Scuf Gaming.
In terms of popularity and recognition, the company’s 3.5 million Twitter followers show that it’s come a long way since its inception in 2010. Excellent content creators like FaZe Clan co-owner Richard “Banks” Bengtson and pro NFL player JuJu Smith-Schuster also help the cause.
It seems like the company is making all the right moves to secure its spot in the continuously growing esports industry. With the first third of the year behind and a lot of interesting events coming up, expect a lot of excitement in the near future.
