FlyQuest are back on top

FlyQuest vs 100 Thieves - LCS Championship Betting Preview

Last season, FlyQuest rebuilt their roster hoping to finally break into the top of the LCS after years of disappointment. This quickly resulted in them finishing third at LCS Spring 2023, although then finishing 9th at LCS Summer 2023.

Enter 2024, this team quickly climbed to 2nd place at LCS Spring 2024 with improved LoL odds. Bolstering the roster by signing Song “Quad” Su-hyeong in June, this team has maintained their position in the league.

At the LCS Championship, FlyQuest has taken down NRG and their rivals Cloud9. Facing off against Liquid in the Upper Bracket Final, the match went to an epic 3-2 scoreline which Liquid narrowly won.

Bearing this in mind, FlyQuest is favoured here over 100 Thieves for League of Legends betting.

Back in 2021, 100 Thieves won the LCS Championship in bold fashion, sweeping the competition as one of the best LoL teams. In 2022, 100 Thieves had a bittersweet season, finishing 2nd at both LCS Summer and Spring competitions.

After a terrible 2023 season, 100 Thieves was forced to completely rebuild the roster for 2024. Finishing 4th at the LCS Spring 2024 was a massive improvement for this team. Refining further with roster changes as recent as July, this 100 Thieves team has continued to build momentum.

Despite finishing fifth in the LCS Summer Groups, they stepped up in the Championship – taking down Dignitas and falling to Liquid, they’ve been on a Lower Bracket run for two rounds.

Can either team take on Liquid?

After this Lower Bracket Final, either team faces Team Liquid.

Regardless of who steps up, Liquid will be favoured. From the two, it’s clear that FlyQuest has a better chance of upsetting the regional giants.
