Falcons take on the Club Championship challenge
Right now at the Esports World Cup, Team Falcons are leading the Club Championship Standings. Moreover, heading into the EWC Free Fire competition, Team Falcons are also one of the favourites once again for Free Fire betting – how did they do it?
Back in April, when the Esports World Cup was announced, Team Falcons signed the entire roster of CGGG from Thailand with the following achievements:
- 2nd at the FFWS Thailand Spring 2024
- 3rd at the Free Fire World Series 2023
- 3rd at the Free Fire Pro League Thailand Season 4
Consistently near the top of the region, they recently dominated the FFWS Southeast Asia Spring 2024 with a 30 point gap over their competitors in the Grand Finals. The rise of Falcons comes after Buriram United’s grip on the region has slipped slightly over the past few months. If any Thai team could take on Falcons, it would be Buriram.
ONIC and Indonesia are on the case
Indonesia is the next region with a massive pool of talent, fielding rosters such as EVOS Divine, Gaimin Gladiators, RRQ Kazu and ONIC Olympus.
Sure, ONIC Olympus may be considered favourites due to their win back at the Free Fire World Series Indonesia Spring 2024 but since then, the roster has had to be reworked with two new signings – we’re not sure how this roster stacks up right now.
Moving on, RRQ Kazu has also impressed with their performances, finishing third at the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 Masters with international competition on the line.
LOUD and Fluxo give Americas hope
Grouping up FFWS Brazil and FFWS Latin America, LOUD is arguably the best team in the region right now
Maintaing the core trio of “Cauan7”, “Lost” and “DRAXX7” this team really took off once Yago “Yago “Vinicius joined the roster.
This young prolific talent joined the roster from Magic Squad who walked away as the champions of the Free Fire World Series 2023 & COPA Free Fire 2023.
On the other hand, one could also make an argument for Fluxo. Signing a new roster in April, this budding roster earned a spot at EWC with a clutch 2nd place finish at ESL Snapdragon Pro Series 2024 Mobile Masters.
However since that performance, Fluxo’s results have been underwhelming and the team isn’t ranked highly by esports betting sites.
P Esports are the Vietnamese Dark Horse
One of the more surprising results at the FFWS Southeast Asia Spring tournament was P Esports finishing in second place. Coming straight out of nowhere, we’re not quite sure if they can replicate this performance.
Regardless, they’ve earned their dark horse status and may pull off an upset at EWC Free Fire.
