GG.bet Named Official Betting Partner of PGL Major Stockholm

Published: Oct 26, 2021

Those that move in esports betting circles will immediately recognise the name, ‘GG.bet’. As one of the leading platforms for esports betting, GG.bet has worked to establish itself as a forerunner in the space, becoming a massively popular platform in a relatively short period of time. It offers a huge amount to bettors, from live, dynamic markets and traditional sports coverage to an in-depth casino and cash prize tournaments.

Now, GG.bet has expanded its base once again, signing on as the official betting partner of the PGL Major Stockholm 2021. In a recently signed agreement between the two organisations, it was confirmed that GG.bet would appear as both the main betting partner and the English-language broadcast sponsor for the tournament. It’s a huge win for both platforms, as it’ll give GG.bet invaluable exposure and offer CSGO bettors a true home for their wagers.

We’ve spoken at length in the past about the hugely positive impact of GG.bet on the esports betting industry. In a relatively short period of time, the platform has become an industry giant, and it boasts an instantly recognisable profile. In fact, we published a comprehensive GG.bet review, to help you fully understand why it’s such a great platform to use.

Since it first opened its doors, GG.bet has offered bettors odds on several esports tournaments, both big and small. However, this partnership between GG.bet and PGL transcends a simple offering, as now, the collaboration brings much more to esports betting fans. If you’re actually attending the event live at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, you’ll be able to experience an interactive GG.bet zone, right in the venue itself.

Reportedly, this zone will permit fans the ability to take a virtual photo with Na’Vi, the favourites to win the tournament, using AR technology. Also, there will be several GG.bet analysts on hand to help out with statistics and better the chances of bettors winning their PGL Major Stockholm bets.

While GG.bet has offered markets for CSGO for several years, this collaborative partnership really brings the platform into the space.

Positivity Through Partnerships

To further highlight the power of the GG.bet platform, we’ll state that this isn’t the site’s first huge partnership. In 2020, GG.bet was named the official global betting partner of ESL, supporting CSGO and Dota 2 tournaments. So, there’s precedence where the FPS platform is concerned, at least.

Speaking on the PGL x GG.bet partnership, the COO of GG.bet, Dmitry Voshkarin, stated:

Working with PGL and partnering with this CSGO Major both on and offline is a great honor for GG.bet. This opportunity will allow us to interact with tournament visitors, teams, and fans in person, not just through a screen. We’re sure that CSGO fans have missed these live competitions just as much as we have, which is why we’re working hard, together with PGL, to make sure that the fans are happy.

Essentially, the PGL Major Stockholm event, which features an intricate ‘Swiss System’ format, is the biggest CSGO esports tournament this year. It boasts a record-breaking prize pool of $2 million and will be played by the biggest and best CSGO teams on the planet.

There are endless opportunities for the players and the esports bettors alike, and partnerships like this one only further that potential.
