HyperX And NME Agree To Renew Partnership Deal

HyperX, the company that is famous for making gaming hardware, has agreed to extend the partnership they have agreed with New Meta Entertainment (NME).

NME is the parent company of the female-focused media platform Raidiant, as well as the owner of the famous United States and Sweden-based esports organisation Dignitas.

As part of the deal, Dignitas will retain the services of HyperX as their official peripheral partner moving forward and in addition, HyperX will also become the official peripheral partner of Raidiant too.

In addition to this, the Digitas VALORANT pro player Emmalee “EMUHLEET” Garrido has signed to become an official ambassador for HyperX, in addition to her role on the Dignitas Valorant team.

The team finished third in the recent VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Game Changers North America Series one esports tournament, finishing behind Cloud9 White and Shopify Rebellion earning themselves 50 series points, as well as a $7,000 cash prize.

Lengthy Partnership

The agreement between the two companies was not unexpected. HyperX and NME have worked together on a number of different projects since 2013 and the agreement renewal means that HyperX will be able to continue its series of HyperX Voice Comms.

In addition, the company will continue to produce videos to showcase HyperX products in potentially lucrative new markets such as Europe and Central and South America.

The new deal with Raidiant, the company founded by NME back in 2021 aimed at producing women-focused content, will see the two companies collaborate on developing an in-person skateboarding event that will attempt to connect the skateboarding and gaming communities in the Californian city of Los Angeles.

“Evolved As An Organisation”

Speaking about the new agreement, John Spiher, the Senior Vice President of Partnerships at New Meta Entertainment remarked:

For years HyperX has helped us set the standard for high-end performance through their products. As we have evolved as an organisation, so has HyperX in continuing to push forward with innovation.

The Director of Marketing at HyperX, Stephanie Winkler, was pleased at the opportunities the new agreement could afford women in gaming.

Working with Dignitas for over nine years, HyperX is proud to not only renew our sponsorship and add EMUHLEET to the HyperX family, but also work closely with Raidiant to help elevate women’s voices and activities in the gaming community.

Success For Diginitas Female

After switching from CSGO to VALORANT in May 2020, the Dignitas Female team has enjoyed a good deal of success and it is this and the personality of EMUHLEET that has almost certainly attracted Hyper X to this aspect of the partnership.

Alongside teammates rain, Theia, showliana and Stefanie, the Dignitas Female team has won three events over the course of 2021, winning the Super Girl Gamer Pro: Spring 2021 Championships, The Fly High Invitational and the missharvey Invitational show match against Team SoloMid X.

There’s no doubt that deals like this involving top quality hardware brands and female-led initiatives and teams in the esports gaming and esports betting arenas will help raise the profile of the women’s game, which is starting to take off after years of being an afterthought.
