LA Thieves vs Seattle Surge Predictions: CDL Week 1

In recent years in the Call of Duty League, few teams have been as exciting as the LA Thieves. This organisation is a legitimate world-championship-winning brand, and in its first match in the 2024 CDL season, it’ll be facing off against Seattle Surge, a massively capable squad. It’s hard to call, and that’s why we’re making use of Pinnacle’s COD betting odds to get a better idea of which team could walk away with the win this time around.

LA Thieves vs Seattle Surge Match Preview

Let’s see which team has the best chance of winning this match.

LA Thieves

LA Thieves has a completely revitalised roster for the 2024 season. It’s quite a mixed bag of competitors, with the LA Thieves bringing in two pro players who only just passed through their rookie season last year. Before, when talking about Call of Duty betting, we’d back LA Thieves, but now, we’re not so sure. There’s a strong IGL in Ghosty, but the opposing team in this particular fight has veteran status and much more experience in the CDL, which has to count for something.

Seattle Surge

Like LA Thieves, Seattle Surge enters the 2024 CDL season with a completely refreshed team. It’s a squad that’s sure to boost the team’s chances in the Call of Duty odds but is it enough to overcome LA Thieves? We’d like to think so – three of the four players on this squad are world champions with some serious accolades to their name, while the remaining player – Abuzah – is one of the most anticipated rookies to break into the CDL this year.
