LCK Spring Week 8 – Only Two Weeks Left

For those unaware, the competitive League of Legends is split into two Splits – most regions divide competition into Spring and Summer.

This year, heading into the third year of the franchised Korean league, the 10 franchised teams are trying to make it to the LCK Spring Playoffs. Across the past seven weeks, the best teams in LoL Korea have been fighting through a double round robin, where only the top six teams make it to the LCK Spring Playoffs.

Right now, only two weeks of competition are left, and in this esports betting preview, we’ll be taking a look at the next three days of matches as part of LCK Week 8.

Firstly, here are the dates and times of this week’s matches which we’ll be previewing:

8th March 2023 – CET

9th March 2023 – CET

10th March 2023 – CET

Notably, there will also be further matches on 11th and 12th March.

Diving into each match and their respective odds , we’ll be using and recommending GG.Bet. As one of the most renowned names in esports betting, GG.Bet is the perfect platform for League of legends betting. As highlighted in our exclusive GG.Bet review, the variety of esports betting markets, fantastic odds and unique welcome bonuses all add up to a great betting experience.

Nongshim RedForce vs Kwangdong Freecs

Starting things off, we have a battle at the very bottom of the leaderboard in the ongoing LCK Spring 2023. Indeed, between these two teams, only four wins have been achieved. While Kwangdong has mustered three wins, Nongshim RedForce are hanging onto a single victory. Considering that Kwangdong are hovering just beneath BRION, a win here could help elevate them to a seventh place finish, although finishing top six is out of the question. Overall, Kwandong are clear favourites here.

KT Rolster vs Hanwha Life Esports

Meanwhile, this next match is hugely contested. Both Hanhwa and KT Rolster sit dead even at the 4th spot in the leaderboard. Accordingly, this dogfight will likely determine who will solidify their spot at the LCK Spring Playoffs, and who will have to keep fighting in the next week to survive. While this is very tough to predict, the last time these teams face each other, KT Rolster walked away with it – this will likely be the case here. Overall, this will be the best LCK betting opportunity all week!

Liiv SANDBOX vs Gen.G

Next up, Gen.G look to continue their impressive performance in the LCK Spring, as they fight in the title race. Doing so, they’ll hope to take down Liiv SANDBOX who stand in their way. However, Liiv SANDBOX are no push-over, with an 8-6 record and currently sitting in sixth place, they can’t afford to lose and risk giving BRION a chance to catch up in the standings. Yet, considering Gen.G’s form and the fact that they’ve already beaten them once, Gen.G will likely beat them again.

T1 vs DRX

Last year, this match would have been absolutely incredible. However, this year, with DRX’s fall from grace as they currently sit in 9th place with a 3-11, T1 look to win with ease. Indeed, continuing their phenomenal 13-1 record, T1 will likely secure a win here and the title of LCK Spring Regular Season winners – how will they fare in the Playoffs?

Nongshim RedForce vs Dplus KIA

Once again, Nongshim RedForce look to face an uphill battle, this one steeper than the last. Bearing in mind Dplus KIA’s position in the standings, vywing with Gen.G for second place, RedForce have their work cut out for them here. Without a doubt, Dplus KIA will likely sweep aside Nongshim RedForce with their eyes set on second place in the LCK Spring 2023.

KT Rolster vs BRION

Rounding off our predictions, we have a middle-of-the-pack contention between KT Rolster and BRION. While KT Rolster have pretty much secured their spot in the top six, BRION have everything to play for should they dream of ever featuring in the LCK Spring Playoffs. While it’s doable, KT Rolster will likely use this opportunity to further themselves in the leaderboard.
