LEC Spring Playoffs Betting Insights: Teams, Odds & Predictions
After a shorter than usual LEC Spring Regular Season, the final four teams are battling through the LEC Spring Playoffs bracket. Indeed, this weekend will crown another regional LoL champion. Bearing this in mind, we’ll be offering our own LEC Spring Playoffs Betting insights below!
LEC Spring Playoffs – Final Weekend
Starting earlier this week, the best League of Legends teams from the LEC Spring Groups earned their spot in the Playoffs double-elimination bracket.
Competing offline at the Berlin LEC Studio, the small double-elimination bracket kicked off with a pre-determined match prior to three rounds of competition.
The stakes here are clear – apart from the $90,000 of prize pool, the winner of the split qualifies for the Mid-Season Invitational 2023 and secures a spot at the LEC Finals 2023 event.
In addition, there are a tonne of LEC Points up for grabs, which will be essential to qualify for Worlds 2023 later on in the year.
Overall, the following is the entire schedule for the incoming LEC Spring Playoffs weekend, after Team BDS took down Team Vitality earlier this weekend:
21st April – Round 1
- MAD Lions vs G2 Esports (18;00 CEST)
22nd April – Round 2
- Team Vitality vs TBD (18:00 CEST)
23rd April – Finals
- Team BDS vs TBD (18:00 CEST)
Below, we’ll be taking a look at the League of Legends betting odds below using odds as provided by BC.Game. Moreover, we’ve dived a little deeper into the services which BC.Game offer in our very own BC.Game review.
LEC Spring Playoffs – Odds and Predictions
MAD Lions vs G2 Esports
Heading into this Round 1 match, there are a number of factors to consider. Moreover, the last time these two teams encountered was prior to the Spring Groups, back in the Spring Season. Back then, on March 27th, G2 Esports won a quick 1-0 series against MAD Lions.
In addition, G2 Esports has outperformed MAD Lions at every stage. While G2 Esports placed 3rd at the Spring Season, MAD Lions barely scraped by in eighth place. With both teams placing 3-4th in the Spring Groups, they’ve punched a ticket into the Round 1 match-up.
It’s due to this history, and the fact that G2 Esports have a stronger legacy in the League of Legends Europe scene, that the LoL odds favour G2 Esports. However, considering that these teams haven’t matched up in a while, anything could happen.
- Predictions: MAD Lions (1-3) G2 Esports
- LoL Odds: MAD Lions Outright Win (4.40), G2 Esports Outright Win (1.17)
