Let’s take a closer look at the competition below while bearing in mind the LoL odds.
SK Gaming or Team BDS?
After the LEC Regular Season, both SK Gaming and Team BDS ended as the leaders with an 8-1 record overall.
Both teams demonstrated a tremendous amount of consistency across the entire season after bouncing back from a rocky LEC Spring 2024 split earlier this year.
Team BDS did place third at LEC Spring 2024, so their climb to first place wasn’t too much of a surprise and moreso a coming of age for this roster which
In comparison, SK Gaming’s story is a huge turnaround. After finishing 8th at LEC Spring 2024 with a 3-6 record, the team signed two Korean stars in the forms of Cho “Rahel” Min-seong and Lee “Luon” Hyun-ho and this has turned everything around.
Between these two teams, it’s likely that the experience from Team BDS will overpower the firepower of SK Gaming. However, the last time that these two met, SK Gaming took down Team BDS.
G2 Esports and Fnatic are Back?
Historically, G2 Esports and Fnatic are some of the most popular organizations in the LEC.
Of all the teams, G2 Esports has the best international record and has won the most LEC titles.
After a rough start to LEC Summer 2024, G2’s roster has stuck together and made a strong resurgence, only losing to SK Gaming and Team BDS.
Fnatic, in addition, has also performed better than usual. Despite their last win being ages ago, this season the roster bounced back and has mustered some impressive wins.
Taking down SK Gaming, they’ve only lost to Team BDS, G2 Esports and Team Heretics.
