G2 Esports has Defeated all South Korean Teams

The road to greatness was long and twisted for G2 Esports, as the European Team had to play against the top three teams from South Korea.

They were able to defeat Griffin in the opening match, only to suffer a series of humiliating back-to-back defeats in the last round of the group stage. Damwon were slightly higher in the LoL Worlds power rankings, but G2 Esports dealt with them in four matches.

South Korea Telecom were expected to end G2’s dreams, but the European Team crushed them 3-1. An unexpected subpar performance from Faker made it easier for G2 to triumph.

Now they’re back in the driver’s seat and have high chances against the top seed from China.

FunPlus Phoenix Face Their Toughest Opponent Yet

The most successful Chinese team of 2019 has benefited from a somewhat easier League of Legends Worlds schedule and made the most of it. They have alternated disappointing results with strong displays of skill in the group stage, to emerge as a top seed in the quarterfinals.

FunPlus Phoenix were more than a match for both Griffin and Invictus, although esports bookmakers gave them lesser odds to win in both matches.

The LPL is famous for its aggressive teams and FunPlus Phoenix are in a league of their own, coming out firing on all cylinders in every match.

This makes the game against G2 Esports particularly exciting, as the European Team are also famous for their unrelenting style.

League of Legends fans are entitled to expect great things from this series, which could go the distance and require 5 games for the first time this Worlds.

Plenty of Kills and Brutal Team Fights

G2 Esports have asserted dominance over all opponents except for Griffin, and they are the most experienced team in the series.

Their amazing performance against South Korea Telecom and the sheer quality of the roster explains their favored status.

Punters can only expect LoL Worlds odds of 1/2 on the Europeans, while FunPlus Phoenix are priced at 3/2.

They can also get creative and bet on the MVP of the LoL Worlds Final 2019 at odds of 2/1 for Perks and 13/20 for Caps.
