Luckbox Announce Quentin Martin as their new Chief Executive Officer
The crypto-enabled esports betting service Luckbox has recently announced that Quentin Martin will take over as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
Mr. Martin, who joined Luckbox back in Marck 2018 as the Chief Operating Officer, has taken over from former CEO Lars Lien, who has taken a sideways step in the organization to focus on the strategic direction of the company and on securing further investment.
Positive Appointment
The move is seen as a very positive appointment for the 2019-launched Luckbox as Mr Quentin has acquired a wealth of experience in the gambling sector in his career. This has included him. Being the head of social poker at PokerStars, where he first met the acquaintance of Luckbox joint founders Lars Lien and Mike Stevens.
Speaking about his appointment to the role, Mr Martin stated in a press release:
“It’s such an exciting time for Luckbox and I am thrilled to have the honor of leading our talented and dedicated team. Lars has done a fantastic job in building this company from inception to launch and [we] are now accepting bets from fans in more than 100 countries.”
“My challenge is to build on what we’ve achieved already and take Luckbox to the next level.”
“We are perfectly positioned to capitalise on the boom in regulated esports betting and it’s up to me and the team to make sure we make the most of this opportunity, to grow the business and provide more fans with an awesome esports betting experience.”
“Exceptionally Qualified”
Speaking about the appointment of his successor, the outgoing CEO Lars Lien endorsed his successor with fulsome praise.
“Quentin is exceptionally qualified for this role. Since he joined the project in 2018, he has done a fantastic job and has shown the strong leadership qualities we knew he had when we appointed him. Luckbox is in safe hands and I wish him every success in his new role.”
Oversee Cryptocurrency & LuckCash Token Development
One of Mr Martin’s key tasks as the new CEO will be to oversee the implementation and development of the cryptocurrency betting options available on Luckbox, which were announced on this site back in January.
This is seen as the forerunner for the impending release of Luckbox’s own currency, LuckCash tokens, which are set to be made available for customers to purchase and use on the site at some point later in the year.
Indeed, it may well be Mr. Martin’s important role in the successful implementation of adding cryptocurrency payments to the Luckbox platform, through utilizing the services of Cryptopay, that have landed him the task of overseeing the rollout of LuckCash tokens on the site in quarter 2 of 2020.
Equally, as Luckbox continues to seek growth in the ultra-competitive esports betting and cryptocurrency esports betting markets, Lars Lien’s new role in seeking investment and looking at the strategic direction of the company could well be equally important in enhancing Luckbox’s stock in this buoyant but fierce betting market.
