Esports betting platform Luckbox has been trying to get its new affiliate program off the ground for a little while now and it has taken a big step towards achieving that goal by signing a partnership agreement with the Paysafe Group’s marketing technology and services company Income Access.
The deal has come at a time when the esports industry is reporting that the Covid-19 pandemic, and the resulting cancellation or postponement of a vast swathe of tournaments across the middle months of 2020, has resulted in the industry taking a hit, estimated to be worth around $150 million.
This has ensured that brands such as Luckbox are now actively looking at ways to market their products and services to iGaming affiliate networks. It is precisely this issue that the partnership with Paysafe’s Income Access is poised to facilitate.
Key Points of the Deal
The deal will see Luckbox and Income Access work together to offer a number of benefits to affiliates and the key points of the deal will ensure that:
- Luckbox will host their affiliate program on the Income Access platform and this will enable marketing partners to access a comprehensive range of features including multi-channel tracking and reporting solutions.
- Using the Income Access platform enables access to user-friendly CRM and communication services which ensure improved player acquisition and retention.
- Luckbox will also be able to access and use the Income Access Network, which gives them access to a number of qualified advertising partners and invaluable support with their content and marketing.
- Individuals interested in becoming a Luckbox affiliate will be able to work with the company to create exciting content and are able to access industry-leading commission packages, which will in turn help accelerate the growth of the program.
“Phenomenal Growth”
Speaking about the new partnership, the CEO of Luckbox Quentin Martin commented:
“This has been a year of phenomenal growth for Luckbox and the wider esports betting industry. The past few months, in particular, have seen us honing out product, not least with the addition of more games, betting markets and attractive user acquisition and retention markets, such as free bets.
We focused on working with high-quality affiliate partners, which proved to be successful for our brand and onboarding a trusted affiliate platform like Income Access accelerates our plans to scale our operations, and we look forward to a successful partnership.”
Luckbox offers esports betting on 13 esports at present and is available across both desktop and mobile.
Speaking about the deal, the Chief Operating Officer at Income Access Paysafe Group, Tara Wilson, commented:
“Through this partnership, esports affiliates can soon expect to promote Luckbox, a brand making noticeable headway in the gaming industry. By integrating with both our affiliate software and influential network, Luckbox will further reach the global esports community while growing its affiliate programme.”
In a year where the multi-billion dollar esports industry may have taken a small hit from Covid-19 in terms of revenue, the positives of additional exposure at this time have actually been a huge positive for the industry, and continuing to attract customers through affiliates and bespoke content will certainly help Luckbox achieve that heading into 2021 and the post-Covid-19 age.
