Luckbox Says Hola and Hallo to Five New Languages on its Esports Site
It has been an incredibly busy few months for the people at esports betting giant Luckbox and that has culminated this week with the release of five new languages on its esports betting service, allowing even more players from all over the world to access the Luckbox service in their native tongue.
In addition to the English language service that was originally available, Luckbox has now added the options to have the site available in German, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish or Simplified Chinese.
These carefully selected languages will allow the Luckbox site to be more accessible to the millions and potentially billions of esports players that have any of the five new languages, or English, as their natiChangeve tongue. It is also the next step in the company’s drive to continue its massive growth globally into the second half of 2020 and beyond.
Rapid Change and Development
2020 has been a period of rapid change and development for Luckbox as the company has benefitted from soaring interest in the esports betting and gaming industries over the first half of the year. Since November 2019, Luckbox has seen its turnover rise to nearly 13 times the amount it had back then across just eight months.
In addition, to further enhance the products on offer to customers, Luckbox also added four new games to its esports betting service including the massively popular football game FIFA, NBA2K Basketball, Rocket League and first-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege.
The hugely successful first half of the year has also seen the company preparing to go public on the TSX Venture Exchange a little earlier than planned. Spurred by an increase in betting of over 500% since March and a 10-fold increase in deposits, the company has seen its site progress even more quickly than they originally expected.
In order to facilitate the move into a publicly traded company, Luckbox has also concluded a financing round in the past week that has raised around CA$3.8 million from investors, with a further tranche of investments set to close later this week.
As part of the preparation for the share launch, Luckbox can now engage users in a far wider range of languages, which will only enhance its reputation still further.
“Truly Global”
Speaking about the release of four more languages on the Luckbox site, Director of Product for Luckbox, Karl Bray commented:
“We built the entire Luxkbox project around the philosophy of ‘Esports Betting Done Right’, so – as we welcome players from all over the world – it seems only right they should join a community that speaks their language.”
“The appeal of esports is truly global and we know that esports fans respond to brands that share their values. We’re excited that this update gives us the opportunity to communicate new features and share our passion for competitive gaming directly with our players.”
With a total of 13 games now available to bet on at Luckbox and now a total of five languages available at the site, the company’s expected growth and public share listing means that going forward, the future appears to be very bright for Luckbox and its customers.
