Luckbox Make Significant Move In South America With Thunder Awaken Partnership
Earlier this year, premier sports betting, esports and casino gaming firm Luckbox made their first foray into the South American esports betting market in Brazil.
This has led to a significant increase in the number of player registrations, deposits and site traffic, allowing the company to report some hugely encouraging figures from the previous quarter of the financial year.
Unsurprisingly, given the thirst for esports in South America, Luckbox has now agreed to move into another key South American market.
That market is Peru and the entry is facilitated primarily through a sponsorship deal with the Thunder Awaken esports organisation, a team making a huge splash at the current Dota 2 The International tournament taking place at present.
Perfect Timing For Luckbox
Given the success of their past ventures into new markets, this new deal represents perfect timing for Luckbox given how much coverage there has been of Thunder Awaken’s exploits at the richest esports tournament in the world.
The Peruvian team may not feature as one of the strongest favourites in the latest TI 2022 Playoffs betting, but their exploits have certainly raised the profile a great deal, not just of Peruvian esports, but of the whole South and Latin American region esports ecosystem.
After finishing in third place in their Group during the main stages of The International 2022 with an impressive 10-8 record, Thunder Awaken have earned a spot in the top bracket of the knockout tournament, where they have been seeded against arguably the toughest opponents possible in Evil Geniuses.
They may be the rank outsiders in that fixture, but even so their performances have already resonated through the esports community and many now feel that Thunder Awaken will now be the ‘next big thing’ in South American esports.
“Strategically Important Market”
Speaking about the deal with Thunder Awaken, the Real Luck Group Director of Marketing, Daniel Sanders, commented:
“Peru is a strategically important market for us. Not only given the huge interest in esports, but also for expanding our online Casino and Sportsbook offerings to bettors in this vibrant market.”
“This new initiative also gives the Luckbox brand exposure to 16 million (Thunder Awaken channels) fans via the Dota 2 International 11 competition.”
“We look forward to working with local regulators and providing additional details regarding our LATAM growth strategy over the coming months,” he concluded.
The deal will see Luckbox and Thunder Awaken engage in a “significant branding and country-wide integrated approach in Peru.”
The Peruvian esports team already have signed deals with companies such as McDonalds and Intel as they gain nationwide and global exposure through their esports performances.
Expanding Customer Based And Increasing Popularity
With many South American esports fans discovering the excitement of esports betting through following the continent’s best teams and their partners, the deal is a sensible one for the Real Luck Group.
As you can see from our Luckbox Review, the company’s excellent quality site and betting odds are part of what makes the company increasingly popular with customers and of course, that inspires more customers to sign up, especially in these new markets.
We’re pretty sure this won’t be the last move into a new market from Luckbox as the company seeks to expand all around the world.
