Luminosity to be sponsored by PartyCasino.Fun gaming brand

Luminosity Gaming have become the latest esports team to be sponsored by an online casino platform. The deal is part of a partnership between PartyCasino.Fun and Enthusiast Gaming Holdings who have Luminosity as its esports division.

The venture will give Luminosity plenty more funds to compete in an evermore expensive competitive gaming industry. In turn, PartyCasino.Fun will hope to benefit from a greater exposure to a new generation of gamers.

THE DEAL BETWEEN LUMINOSITY AND PARTYCASINO.FUN

The new partnership will see the PartyCasino.Fun logo on the jerseys of the Luminosity Gaming team. This will mean that the online casino’s branding will be visible during live streams and gaming events, as well as in the Luminosity store.

The Toronto-based esports team are a highly rated side who specialise in esports such as Call of Duty, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Fortnite and Rainbow Six. By teaming up with Luminosity, PartyCasino.Fun have said that the deal will ‘untap new marketing opportunities,’ for reaching the gamer demographic.

FURTHER SPONSORSHIP OF EGLX

The new partnership will also see PartyCasino.Fun sponsoring a gaming lounge at the 2019 Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX). This video gaming expo has been running for five years in Toronto, and it kicks off for a weekend’s action on Friday 18 October.

The PartyCasino.Fun lounge will only be open for those who are over the age of 19 years, but it promises to deliver ‘mutual access and opportunity to another tier of gamers.’

There will also be a series of polls that ask visitors to pick between a real-world location and a location in a video game. The results from the poll will be revealed in December and the results will be posted on Enthusiast Gaming’s social media with PartyCasino.Fun being used as a personal gateway.

ALL ABOUT ENTHUSIAST GAMING

Enthusiast Gaming are one of the largest gaming networks in North America. The company operate in a number of different areas such as esports, media and events. With a powerful net presence featuring over 100 gaming websites and nearly 1,000 YouTube channels with well over 150 million visitors, it’s clear that Enthusiast Gaming are a key player.

The brand own seven pro gaming teams including Luminosity, as well as the Vancouver Titans Overwatch side. Such esports organisations are already heavily featured in the odds on many esports betting sites. The fact that PartyCasino.Fun are sponsoring a part of Canada’s largest gaming expo signifies the growing relationship between esports and the online gambling world.

We have previously seen many other sponsorship deals between esports teams and online betting sites. Betway Esports have sponsored pro gaming sides like Ninjas in Pyjamas, MIBR and PSG.LGD. Betting sites like Rivalry and GG.Bet have carried out similar marketing strategies.

Although there are still concerns about the link between gambling and a youth-orientated activity like esports, it seems as though the deal between Luminosity and PartyCasino.Fun is just the latest example of a growing trend.
