M88 Mansion Now The Main Sponsor Of Talon Dota 2 Team
One of the foremost names in South East Asian Esports, Talon Esports, has agreed a sponsorship deal with the Asian-focused online betting and casino gaming site M88 Mansion.
The deal will see M88 Mansion become the main sponsor of the Talon Dota 2 team.
The esports organisation only announced its move into the Dota 2 realm late in 2021 but they have enjoyed a very successful start, landing promotion to Division 1 of the DPC SEA 2021/2022 tour.
Talon Esports also runs teams in League of Legends, Arena of Valor and VALORANT.
Expansion Into Neighbouring Regions
Part of the deal will see M88 Mansion featured on the names used in-game by Talon Esports Dota 2 players.
The uniform that the players wear for their matches will also be embossed with M88 Mansion branding and the team’s social media branding will also be updated to reflect the newly agreed partnership.
The aim of the agreement is for M88 Mansion and Talon Esports to improve their visibility both within South East Asia and also in neighbouring regions.
Talon Esports have been very busy over the last year or so tying up a number of other important sponsorship deals across their whole range of esports teams.
They have also agreed deals with SteelSeries, an esports betting site, Yesports, a marketplace where Non-Fungible Tokens can be bought and sold, as well as deals with fast-food giants KFC and hardware manufacturer Logitech G.
“Build The Right Ecosystem”
The CEO of Talon Esports, Sean Zhang, reflected on how this was an important deal for the Talon Esports Dota 2 team in particular.
“We’ve just began our journey in Dota 2 and it’s vitally important to build the right ecosystem to support our ambitions,” stated Zhang.
“Which is why we’re incredibly excited for M88 Mansion to place their confidence in our organisation’s vision.”
We both mutually share the same goal in setting a new standard for gaming excellence in SEA, but also to really service our fans and the wider gaming community by providing fun, memorable experiences that they will cherish.
The Head of Business Development at M88 Mansion, Alan Wafer, also sounded very upbeat when commenting on the partnership, stating:
We’re excited to partner with Talon and become the title partner for their Dota 2 team.
We share the same values and aspirations for esports and its growth, not only in the SEA region but worldwide. We are keen to grow together and engage with such a passionate audience.
The new agreement will also see the Dota 2 team renamed to M88 Talon, following similar deals for other esports teams such as KFC Talon and PSG Talon.
M88 Talon will compete in the Division 1 of the next SEA DPC Beyond The Summit tour as they continue their move up the rankings and there is no doubt that sponsorship deals such as this will continue to help raise the profile of the team as they seek to impress on the Dota Pro Circuit and perhaps aim for a spot at a future The International esports tournament.
