Ninjas In Pyjamas Sign Ec1s

Ninjas in Pyjamas have signed Adam “ec1s” Eccles after Kévin “Ex6TenZ” Droolans decided to take a competitive break. Ex6TenZ is not leaving the team, but is just transitioning over to the assistant coach role due to an injury.

Many Valorant teams go through a large number of roster changes in-between tournaments, but this will be the first real change for Ninjas In Pyjamas in 2021. They did sign menegh as an analyst back in March, but that’s about it.

The guys from Ninjas In Pyjamas have achieved solid results so far in the Valorant Champions Tour. They attempted to qualify for the recent VCT Stage 3 Challengers 1, but weren’t able to make it. We’ll see if ec1s will make a difference and end up being the final piece of the puzzle that this team badly needed.

Ex6TenZ’s Road to Recovery

Ex6TenZ has been with Ninjas In Pyjamas for quite some time. They’ve been through thick and thin, so it’s no wonder that the organisation has been supporting him after his recent injury and allowed him to take the Assistant Coach position while recovering.

Apparently, his injury started all the way back in VCT Stage 1, when slight pain started appearing in his hand. This continued throughout VCT Stage 2 and eventually developed into a serious problem that now included his forearm and his trapezoids.

Thankfully, Ex6TenZ has managed to get the situation under control and is now focused on recovering. Being a good teammate that he is, he’s still dedicated to his team even during this time, and he’s glad that they’re replacing him for the time being.

Ninjas In Pyjamas’ Strong Bond

Now that we know that Ex6TenZ has been struggling with a hand injury dating all the way to the start of VCT Stage 1, it suddenly puts things into perspective. When there’s five people in a roster, and one of them is not playing at full capacity, that can easily influence the overall performance of the team.

Given all of this, it’s still remarkable how well Ninjas In Pyjamas performed so far. Not only that, but they stuck together and supported each other through this time. We’ve seen teams break up over the smallest of things, so this just shows how strong the Ninjas In Pyjamas core lineup is.

For now, ec1s is the new Initiator of the team. Nothing should change for Ninjas In Pyjamas in this regard, except that they’re just getting more options to work with. VCT Stage 2 is on the horizon, so we’ll see if this new lineup will be able to make it to Challengers 2 and finally play at full power.

Ec1s Finds a New Home

This talented young player has finally found a new team. Ec1s was a part of Team Liquid for quite some time. He was released from his contract after a few months of being benched and joined NoPoaching for a very brief period.

He’s now a part of Ninjas In Pyjamas, and he’s ready to prove himself.

Ec1s an Initiator, and his agents of choice are Breach, Sova, and Skye. Sova has always been one of the meta picks, and we’ve been seeing more and more teams pick Skye in the most recent VCT tournaments.

He’ll be a great addition to the roster and we can’t wait to see what he and Ninjas In Pyjamas will do next.
