As the penultimate event of the season, it’s a good time to consider Overwatch betting.
Taking place between 26th August and 10th September, the online event features the top 12 teams in the Overwatch League East region as seeded:
- East Qualifiers – Dallas Fuel, Seoul Infernal, Hanzghou Spark, Seoul Dynasty, Dreamers, Shanghai Dragons, PANTHERA, O2 Blast, Poker Face, Guangzhou Charge
- East Opens – Sin Prisa Gaming, Rhodes
The format for this Playoffs-type event is rather simple, with the 12 teams split into two groups of 6, trying to crawl out of the Group and defy the Overwatch odds.
Within each group, a double elimination bracket will sort out the competition – here’s how they’ve been sorted:
- Group A – Poker Face, PANTHERA, Rhodes, Dreamers, Dallas Fuel, Hangzhou Spark
- Group B – Guangzhou Charge, O2 Blast, Sin Prisa Gaming, Shanghai Dragons, Seoul Infernal, Seoul Dynasty
The stakes involve seeding into the Play-Ins and ultimately, the Playoffs in the post-season – the biggest prize pools and Overwatch tournaments all year long.
