PERA vs Metizport Match Preview

Despite there being next to no high level Hungarian CS2 players, with Adam “torzsi” Torzsas being the one exception, PERA have had some decent results in the tier-two/tier-three scene as of late. The Hungarian-majority roster claimed the title at the LEON TEAMPLAY Season 2 tournament, where they beat teams such as Endpoint, GODSENT, and Espionage. Victories against squads of that calibre bring a lot of legitimacy to this roster.

When comparing PERA to the rest of the field at the 22B Christmas Cup, the Hungarian-majority roster should be aiming for a top-four finish, or maybe even a tournament victory. Based on their previous results, they are definitely capable of such a showing.

Being one of the most promising young squads from the Swedish scene, Metizport are keen to impress at the 22B Christmas Cup. Counter-Strike fans might recognize some of the players on the roster, namely Erik “ztr” Gustafsson, who attended the PGL Stockholm Major with NIP in 2021, Jack “Jackinho” Strom Mattsson, who made his professional debut for fnatic, and Linus “nilo” Bergman, who is one of the brightest talents in Sweden at the moment.

Metizport’s recent results haven’t been anything to write home about, so a good performance at the 22B Christmas Cup would be a great early Christmas present for the Swedish side, before getting back on the grind at the start of 2024.
