Pinnacle, one of the first global bookmakers to offer odds on esports, has announced their second esports tournament. Their first tournament was Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and now, their second tournament will be DOTA 2.

The second Pinnacle Cup

This second esports event boasts a fairly sizeable prize pool. Some of the very best Dota 2 teams from across Europe will be competing for a piece of the $100,000 prize pool. The competition kicks off on May 5th and it will consist of a basic 10-team round-robin stage, followed by a best-of-three double-elimination bracket. Two teams will be invited to the playoffs to join those qualifying via the round-robin stage. Then there will be the semi-finals and a best-of-five grand final, which is scheduled to take place on May 30th.

Keep an eye out for some of your favourite European teams that will be competing in the upcoming esports event. Teams like Viking.gg, Spirit, Hellbear Smashers, and Extremum will be competing in the event. Pinnacle will also be offering a comprehensive selection of both pre-game and live betting markets for anyone interested in DOTA 2 betting.
